• Perform electrical design for various projects at multiple plants within the company fleet (0 – 50 hours a week) for a year • Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, industry codes, and project requirements • Prepare, review, and update detailed electrical design drawings, including: • One-line diagrams • Elementary and control schematics • Wiring diagrams • Equipment layouts and installation details • Develop and/or verify as-built documentation for projects implemented across the Southern Company fleet • Interface with external parties on design models, drawings, and design • Perform drawing transmittals for the Generation E&I Design department • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including plant engineering, construction, vendors, and other engineering disciplines

Role Description As a Jewelry Designer, you will work on our Product Development team to assist with the design process from conception to launch. In this role, you will produce hand-drawn renderings and digital mockups for the development of distinctive new rings and fine jewelry, consistent with Brilliant Earth’s unique design aesthetic and current industry trends. Key Responsibilities - Drive the design process for distinctive new rings and fine jewelry pieces, by brainstorming and developing new design concepts, producing hand-drawn sketches, digital mockups and prototypes, placing purchase orders, implementing revisions and performing final quality assurance checks. - Research and stay abreast of on-trend fashion, as well as classic jewelry inspiration. Actively identify key trends to ensure our designs remain industry leading and innovative, and present them to the Product Development and Merchandising team to guide design direction. - Ensure consistency with Brilliant Earth’s distinctive design and quality standards, as well as manufacturability of pieces. - Accurately document design details for a range of new product development types. - Organize and maintain design files for accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure designs reflect customer demand and address key trends and opportunities. - Collaborate with the eCommerce and marketing team to provide design inspiration insights and specific product details. - Clearly communicate design details and specifications to cross-functional partners including creative, merchandising, and manufacturing teams. Qualifications - 2+ years of bridal or fine jewelry design experience. - Robust hand rendering and drawing skills. - Robust computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft applications, basic 3D CAD software skills, and basic CRM/PLM knowledge. - Experience leveraging AI-powered design tools (e.g., generative design software, AI-assisted rendering) to accelerate creative workflows. - Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally, with internal stakeholders and external partners. - Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to adhere to design standards. - Highly organized, with ability to prioritize time effectively in a deadline-driven environment. - Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment. - Entrepreneurial spirit / self-starter, with strong ability to work on a team to execute projects. - Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products.
