Designer I
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors
• Perform electrical design for various projects at multiple plants within the company fleet (0 – 50 hours a week) for a year • Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, industry codes, and project requirements • Prepare, review, and update detailed electrical design drawings, including: • One-line diagrams • Elementary and control schematics • Wiring diagrams • Equipment layouts and installation details • Develop and/or verify as-built documentation for projects implemented across the Southern Company fleet • Interface with external parties on design models, drawings, and design • Perform drawing transmittals for the Generation E&I Design department • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including plant engineering, construction, vendors, and other engineering disciplines
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is required
- 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design
- Familiarity with the current version of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to perform lighting level calculations
- Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for both lighting and power applications
- Ability to perform voltage drop calculations
- Ability to route conduit and cable tray
- Ability to calculate tray and conduit fill
- Ability to determine motor control center loading
- Familiarity with specifications and installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment
- Ability to create accurate electrical installation documents from the information found on vendor equipment drawings
- Ability to determine load center unit substation loading
- Knowledge and understanding of work flow/information flow between disciplines
- Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all electrical deliverables
- Ability to accurately estimate completion of assigned tasks
- Knowledge and application of company engineering design and CAD drafting standards
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD and Microstation
- 3D AutoCAD desirable

Role Description As a Jewelry Designer, you will work on our Product Development team to assist with the design process from conception to launch. In this role, you will produce hand-drawn renderings and digital mockups for the development of distinctive new rings and fine jewelry, consistent with Brilliant Earth’s unique design aesthetic and current industry trends. Key Responsibilities - Drive the design process for distinctive new rings and fine jewelry pieces, by brainstorming and developing new design concepts, producing hand-drawn sketches, digital mockups and prototypes, placing purchase orders, implementing revisions and performing final quality assurance checks. - Research and stay abreast of on-trend fashion, as well as classic jewelry inspiration. PYTHA Drafter – CAD Designer, Joinery

• Produce detailed 3D models and 2D shop drawings using PYTHA. • Create plans, elevations, sections, and assembly drawings. • Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware specifications. • Revise and update drawings in line with project and business requirements. • Collaborate with the Drafting Manager to deliver accurate project documentation. • Interpret architectural and design drawings into practical joinery solutions. • Coordinate with production, estimating, and project management teams. • Develop drawings suitable for manufacturing and installation. • Provide technical support to factory operations when required. • Participate in Alphacam training and support CNC file preparation. • Assist with CNC processing workflows once trained. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ensure drawings comply with company standards and manufacturing requirements. • Perform quality checks before issuing documentation.
