Role Description Lanteris Space is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Configuration organization at our offices in Mountain View, California. This position may also be performed remotely within the U.S. The Mechanical Configuration organization is responsible for the spacecraft-level layout design, accommodating all subsystems compatibly during all phases of the spacecraft mission. Our team converts the Systems Engineering book form specifications and block diagrams into 3D designs used to build the spacecraft on the assembly floor. We optimize layouts for system performance and other factors such as accessibility for assembly and test, optimal payload performance, mass properties, etc. The team documents the interfaces between major subsystems (for example: structures, antenna, and mechanisms) to ensure proper fit and alignments when the hardware comes to spacecraft integration. We are always looking at developing new ways to make Intuitive Machines satellites more competitive. The engineering support for a program starts as early as the proposal phase and continues through preparations for launch. The designs produced vary in complexity from component support bracketry to the spacecraft top assembly documentation. - Acts as the Mechanical Design Engineer for the mechanical configuration department - Generate engineering drawing and models with Creo and other design tools - Designs, document, and report on engineering progress on assigned projects - Assist in oversight for the integration of hardware into spacecraft systems architecture - Help disposition nonconformances and drive for process improvements Qualifications - Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident - Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace or other engineering discipline. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including piece part and subassembly modeling in CREO or other CAD software and assembly drawing generation. • Assist in designing, simulating, and verifying digital and/or analog circuits to meet Intel's high-performance standards • Contribute to schematic entry, timing analysis, and optimization for power, performance, and area • Perform noise glitch and signal integrity analysis to ensure robust circuit designs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions for low-power and high-performance designs • Perform debugging, hardware simulations, and circuit testing to validate design functionality • Utilize and navigate EDA tools to execute floor planning and clock gating tasks • Apply semiconductor device physics knowledge to analyze and improve circuit tradeoffs • Continuously learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvements in alignment with Intel's culture of innovation

• Define how equipment scope is developed and validated during FEED • Review and validate mechanical content across datasheets, vendor packages, and discipline handoffs • Create repeatable checks that catch scope gaps and inconsistencies early • Map where mechanical rework happens and what typically causes it • Clarify interfaces with Process, Piping, I&C, and Electrical • Identify which steps are repetitive vs which require real engineering judgement

• Design plumbing, drainage, supply, and distribution systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring full compliance with local building codes and international standards. • Lead spatial coordination with architectural and structural models, proactively resolving clashes and protecting design intent from early stages through to technical completion. • Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using CAD and BIM tools, directing BIM modellers to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliverables. • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and engineers to integrate systems seamlessly without compromising spatial or aesthetic quality. • Perform load calculations and system sizing to ensure optimal performance across all project conditions. • Oversee equipment selection in alignment with project requirements, sustainability targets, and luxury standards. • Review and approve deliverables from third-party designers, consultants, and surveyors, maintaining design integrity throughout. • Contribute to value engineering discussions, balancing cost, quality, and performance without sacrificing the guest experience.
