This position may also be performed remotely within the U. S. with periodic travel required to Lanteris facilities and customer locations. This strategic export control position enables compliant execution of programs across our diverse portfolio of commercial and defense customers. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Oracle database systems that support our spacecraft design, manufacturing, and mission operations. As we expand our AI and machine learning capabilities, this role offers opportunities to evolve into data engineering responsibilities supporting AI/ML initiatives. - Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems (primary focus) - Monitor Oracle database performance, optimize queries, and tune systems for maximum efficiency - Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies for Oracle environments - Implement and maintain database security policies and access controls - Manage Oracle database architecture, including RAC, Data Guard, and ASM - Collaborate with software engineers and systems administrators on database design - Perform Oracle database migrations, upgrades, and patches - Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support - Create and maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures - Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements - Support both on-premises and cloud-based Oracle database environments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle) - Work with data science and AI teams to design and optimize data pipelines for machine learning workloads - Support data lake and data warehouse architectures that enable AI/ML model training and inference Qualifications - Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Role Description Lanteris Space Systems is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE). In this role you will ensure the quality of material, components and products provided by Lanteris Suppliers. SQE will ensure that suppliers comply with Lanteris specifications and program requirements. This is performed by Supplier audits or actively performing inspections onsite at the supplier. This role is based remotely in the EST time zone. - Provide quality engineering, quality source inspection, material review board and quality improvement support for supplier related work. - Team with local work groups to provide integrated, proactive quality support while implementing the defined Lanteris quality system. - Conduct source inspection for domestic and foreign suppliers. - Audit/survey, maintain compliance to Lanteris supplier audit requirements. - Manage supplier NCR’s and MRB’s. - Assist in investigation of supplier non-conformances to include the root cause investigation and effective incorporation of robust corrective actions. - Maintain, add, and improve SQA documentation and procedure revisions. - Apply continuous improvement process through creative solutions. - Improve accuracy and understanding of the Supplier Rating System. - Use the Supplier Rating System to monitor and improve supplier’s performance. - Support PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR meetings.
