Role Description The Applications Sales Specialist, Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) & Lab Packs is a technical sales expert responsible for driving growth of Arcwood’s Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) and Lab Packing services. This role reports to the Program Manager, EAP & Lab Packs and partners closely with the Regional Sales team to develop and win new business in hospitals, universities, research laboratories, biotech/pharma sites, and light industrial customers with small-container chemical management needs. - Owns customer proposals for EAP and Lab Pack opportunities leveraging templates set out by the Project Manager, EAP & Lab Packs. - Performs on-site inventory assessments, scoping chemical segregation, packaging, and disposal requirements. - Translates technical findings into clear, accurate statements of work for proposals. - Recommends pricing exceptions based on complexity, risk, or non-standard waste streams. - Provides technical support during sales calls, customer meetings, consultant engagements, and walk-throughs. - Hunts for new EAP and lab pack opportunities within assigned large geographical territory based upon the segmentation model set forth for the segment; nurtures leads following segmentation and targeting process and practice created by Project Manager, EAP & Lab Packs. - Builds relationships with EHS Directors, Lab Managers, hospital environmental teams, public-sector research centers, and university facilities groups. - Represents Arcwood at industry events, conferences, and associations relevant to laboratory safety, healthcare, higher education, and small-quantity generator programs; conducts ‘lunch and learn’ opportunities as needed. - Serves as Arcwood’s technical subject matter expert for lab pack chemical identification, segregation, hazard classes, and RCRA/DOT compliance. - Ensures accuracy in profiling and packaging of small-container inventory for customer proposals. - Provides technical support but does not own post-sale account management. - Trains regional sellers on how to identify and qualify EAP and lab pack opportunities. - Partners with the Program Manager, EAP & Lab Packs to align proposals, SOPs, offer design, and value propositions. - Supports national or multi-site bids by providing technical scoping input. - Uses Salesforce CRM to maintain a segment-specific pipeline for EAP and Lab Packs. - Tracks metrics including win rate, event revenue, customer segments, and technical complexity. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, biology, engineering or related field preferred. Requirements - BA/BS in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred. - 5–10+ years of experience in hazardous waste, lab pack services, or environmental technical sales. - Deep understanding of lab pack segregation, chemical identification, RCRA/DOT rules, and small-quantity generator compliance. - Hunter sales mentality with experience driving new business. - Strong relationships with universities, labs, hospitals, or biotech environments preferred. • Develop and execute a market business plan in partnership with field sales and build account plans across Digital S&L market, resulting in a business growth pipeline and achieving quarterly business objectives. • You will proactively prospect and qualify potential customers for our Digital products and solutions in our Civil Identity S&L market segment and schedule follow-up meetings and/or solution demonstrations in partnership with the Civil Identity Field Sales team. • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, work with cross-functional teams, and serve as a key customer contact the entire sales cycle. • Manage all elements of the sales cycle within assigned geographic areas and/or product line; with primary focus on new accounts including sales prospecting activities, follow-up, business value analysis, involvement in proposal development, contract negotiation, and effective management of the sales closure. • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for IDEMIA ID&V and mID Products. • Articulate key differentiators, and typical customer journeys. • Partner with Marketing, Go-to-Market, and Field Sales to generate prospecting campaigns at scale. • Drive initiatives for increased adoption, use, and growth of Digital Solutions and Products in the S&L market. • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Idemia products and technical architecture, industry characteristics and competitive environment, including conducting market research to understand competitors and trends. • Responds to solution and product inquiries. • Add a positive sales culture and sale centric atmosphere among the team members. • Attend conferences as required.
