• You report to our Direct Sales Lead DACHIT and are responsible for acquiring and growing existing and new customers in the Direct Customers segments — including traditional and modern gastronomy as well as manufacturing within the ready-meal producers sector • Building and maintaining networks in these segments is a welcome part of your role • Develop and implement targeted strategies and sales concepts for these segments • Responsible for revenue and sales volume targets as part of achieving goals • Independently prepare and conduct customer appointments, trainings and annual review meetings in the end-customer segment • First point of contact for all operational matters of end customers in these segments • Support customer-specific projects with our production sites and Europe-wide centrally managed functions • Monitor the market environment and participate in regular marketing exchanges to jointly develop the aforementioned segments • Coordinate with colleagues in the same role at the international level • Prepare and conduct international customer meetings
Job Requirements
- Sales experience, preferably in Foodservice, QSR, Travel or Manufacturing, but not mandatory as long as you are passionate about foodservice and the food industry
- Agile, independent work style combined with a strong sense of responsibility and performance orientation
- Sales instincts and strong presentation skills, above all empathy and a commitment to solving customers' problems
- Strong numerical affinity
- Ability to manage projects with cross-functional teams
- Not only a team player but also someone who fosters team development
- Willingness to travel nationally with overnight stays (up to 60%)
- Very good written and spoken English, fluent German; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage

Role Description The Applications Sales Specialist, Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) & Lab Packs is a technical sales expert responsible for driving growth of Arcwood’s Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) and Lab Packing services.
