Role Description The Vice President of Platform Engineering will be responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise technology platforms across cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure as code, IT security, artificial intelligence, and application platform services. This is a senior leadership role requiring more than 20 years of technology experience and a proven track record of building scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective platforms that support business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency. - Lead the enterprise platform engineering strategy across cloud, DevOps, automation, AI enablement, security, and application platform services. - Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient platforms across public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. - Advance DevOps maturity through the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, release automation, and platform self-service capabilities. - Partner with Information Security to embed security-by-design principles, identity and access controls, vulnerability management, compliance standards, and secure engineering practices into platform services. - Lead AI platform enablement, including infrastructure, tooling, governance, automation, and integration patterns that support enterprise AI initiatives. - Oversee application platform architecture, developer experience, API management, container platforms, observability, monitoring, and operational support capabilities. - Establish enterprise platform standards, reference architectures, engineering best practices, operating models, and governance frameworks. - Build, lead, and mentor high-performing engineering teams, including cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, site reliability engineers, platform architects, and automation specialists. - Improve system reliability, performance, availability, disaster recovery for cloud-based Applications, business continuity for Cloud-based Applications, and incident response capabilities. - Manage technology roadmaps, vendor relationships, budgets, capacity planning, platform lifecycle management, and investment optimization. - Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure platform capabilities are aligned with enterprise priorities and business outcomes. - Drive continuous improvement across engineering delivery, operational processes, security posture, resiliency, automation, and cost efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. - 10+ years of progressive technology experience across IT infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud engineering, application development, DevOps, CI/CD, SaaS management, quality assurance, cloud-based disaster recovery, and IT security. Role Description We are looking for a Platform Engineer to own our internal developer platform end to end. This is a senior individual contributor role spanning CI/CD, edge infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling across a TypeScript and Python monorepo. You will treat internal engineers as your primary users and measure success by their productivity. The role has a clear growth path toward Staff or Principal-level engineering. - Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows across a monorepo, including reusable workflows, OIDC federation to Cloudflare and Vercel, and a comprehensive CI quality bar covering type-checking, linting, testing, and SAST. - Own the full deployment pipeline from branch to preview to production, including artifact signing, SBOM generation, and supply chain security practices. - Instrument Python and TypeScript services with OpenTelemetry, own OTel Collector configuration, and establish a vendor-neutral observability strategy covering traces, logs, and metrics across edge compute environments. - Define SLOs with product teams, implement error budget alerting, and set the organization-wide logging contract. - Own Cloudflare and Vercel configuration as code via Terraform or Pulumi, ensuring all infrastructure changes are PR-reviewed and version-controlled. - Build and maintain internal CLIs and scaffolding tools that provision new services pre-wired with CI, OTel, and deployment configuration. - Maintain an AI-aware development environment with agent-safe sandboxing and governance guardrails for AI-generated code entering production. - Track and report on platform impact: deployment frequency, PR cycle time, time-to-production, and developer satisfaction. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or developer experience engineering in a professional context. - Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Bash. - Deep experience with GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi), and OIDC-based keyless authentication. - Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry and software supply chain security practices. - Familiarity with edge compute platforms, particularly Cloudflare Workers and Vercel. - Strong written communication; able to produce documentation and architecture decision records that let the platform operate without direct intervention. - Self-directed and comfortable shaping a function that is still early in its development. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Sigstore or cosign, policy-as-code tooling (OPA), or internal developer portals (Backstage). - Background in FinOps or cloud cost attribution. - Experience designing CI/CD systems that accommodate AI coding agents and non-deterministic code generation workflows.

• Design, operate, and harden the live AV pipeline (ingest → transport → packaging → CDN delivery) across multiple clouds and regions • Collaborate with teams for delivery across AWS and Tencent Cloud • Configure and debug major CDNs and understand cache management strategies • Develop backend services in Go and Python, ensuring low-latency and effective tooling • Manage networking fundamentals and packet-level debugging to maintain infrastructure • Incorporate streaming concepts and security measures into the pipeline • Ensure service reliability for 24/7 live services at scale
