• Design, operate, and harden the live AV pipeline (ingest → transport → packaging → CDN delivery) across multiple clouds and regions • Collaborate with teams for delivery across AWS and Tencent Cloud • Configure and debug major CDNs and understand cache management strategies • Develop backend services in Go and Python, ensuring low-latency and effective tooling • Manage networking fundamentals and packet-level debugging to maintain infrastructure • Incorporate streaming concepts and security measures into the pipeline • Ensure service reliability for 24/7 live services at scale
Job Requirements
- Multi-cloud DevOps / SRE: hands-on with AWS and Tencent Cloud (or willingness to ramp on Tencent fast — APAC delivery matters)
- GCP a plus

- Observability (CloudWatch, structured logs, tracing)
- CDN experience: configuring and debugging at least one major CDN (CloudFront, Tencent CDN/CSS, G-Core)

- Backend: solid in Go and Python — Go for low-latency services and gRPC, Python for tooling, glue, probes
- Networking fundamentals: UDP vs TCP, NAT/firewalls, TLS/mTLS, BGP/anycast at a conceptual level, packet-level debugging (tcpdump, Wireshark)
- Streaming concepts: RTP/SRT/RTMP ingest, HLS/DASH packaging, CDN delivery, latency tradeoffs, DRM (Widevine/FairPlay/PlayReady) at a high level, WebRTC/TURN basics
- Security mindset: source authentication, credential rotation, IAM scoping (across AWS and Tencent), secrets handling, DRM key protection
- Nice-to-have: China / APAC delivery experience (Tencent, Alibaba Cloud, ICP licensing realities)
- GStreamer / FFmpeg internals, transcoding pipelines
- gRPC service design, protobuf schema evolution
- Hands-on with SRT, WHIP/WHEP, Low-Latency HLS, MPEG-TS
