• Strategic Scaling of Paid UA: Plan, execute, and own your strategy to hit KPIs. • You are building a scalable UA engine across Google and beyond. • Extreme Ownership & Prioritization: You own the goals, not the tasks. • We provide the resources and the "Why"; you define the "How". Something blocks you? Your manager's only job is to remove it. No hand-holding, no micro-management - just results. • Lead Creative Testing Frameworks: Build and manage predictable, scalable frameworks for testing thousands of creatives. • You know how to find a winner, why it won, and how to replicate that success at scale. • Aggressive Budget & ROAS Management: Responsible for dynamic budget allocation to maximize ROAS. • You decide where the next dollar goes. • Creative, MarTech & Growth Collaboration: Guide the creative team's focus, forecast asset delivery, write airtight technical requirements for MarTech, and collaborate with Growth. • Every department is deep in UA context - that's how we move fast. • Data Deep-Dives & Growth Execution: You live in the metrics. • You dig into LTV, monetization, and web funnels when something feels off. • If a number moves, you're the first to ask "Why?" • Analytics Mastery (SQL & Dashboards): Data-literate by default. • Whether it's a quick SQL slice or a full dashboard build - you don't wait for someone else to pull it for you.

Role Description As Growth Manager, you'll own and drive the growth strategy for both of our brands — Uncanny Automator and Uncanny Owl. You'll inherit a documented strategy and roadmap, but from day one you own it: you set priorities, sequence initiatives across both product lines, and evolve the strategy as you learn. You'll lead a small team of specialists as a hands-on player-coach — setting direction and contributing directly to the work. You'll report to the President and partner closely with Product to turn our product-led growth model into measurable revenue. You'll be joining at an exciting moment. We just launched Uncanny Agent, a new AI agent for WordPress that is already the leader in its space — a category-defining product and the centerpiece of our growth over the coming year. You'll own the go-to-market that carries it forward. This is a senior, high-autonomy role with a lot of surface area. It is right for someone who wants to own outcomes across the full funnel, lead a team, and run a disciplined operating cadence — not someone looking to execute across a few channels. Key Responsibilities - Strategy and ownership - Own and continuously refine the growth strategy and roadmap for both Uncanny Automator and Uncanny Owl. - Own the full growth funnel: acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, expansion, and advocacy. - Partner with Product on product-led growth — launch readiness, free-tier and upgrade design, pricing and packaging, and feeding customer and market insight back into the product roadmap. - Team leadership - Lead and develop a small team of specialists (content, growth operations, design and video, partnerships and affiliates). - Set priorities, remove blockers, and contribute directly to copy, campaigns, analysis, and launches when needed. - Make hiring and outsourcing decisions as the team reaches capacity limits. - Operating system - Run the growth team's weekly Level 10 meeting: own the scorecard, review quarterly Rocks, and lead Identify-Discuss-Solve on the issues list. - Set quarterly Rocks with clear "done when" definitions and accountable owners, and grade them each quarter. - Execution and measurement - Establish trustworthy funnel measurement before optimizing, and set scorecard targets once baselines exist. - Lead conversion-rate optimization across the free-to-paid, direct-purchase, upgrade, and cross-sell funnels. - Drive retention and expansion: churn reduction, cancellation and win-back flows, and net revenue retention above 100% through tier upgrades, usage packs, and cross-sell. - Plan and run product and feature launches end-to-end, coordinating every channel and owner. - Direct SEO and content, email lifecycle marketing, partnerships, affiliates, and social media as channels in service of the funnel. - Oversee marketing operations and website upkeep for both sites: tracking and analytics, automations, quarterly audits, and incident response. - Track results and report to the President, translating data into clear decisions and next quarter's priorities. Qualifications - 5+ years in growth or digital marketing for B2B SaaS or subscription software, including direct experience managing a team or function. - Demonstrated ownership of a full-funnel growth strategy — not just individual channels — with accountability for conversion, retention, and expansion. - Fluency with product-led / freemium economics (free-to-paid conversion, ARPU, LTV, net revenue retention). - Proven success driving B2B software growth across multiple channels (search, social, email, partnerships, affiliates). - Strong analytics judgment: comfortable defining metrics, diagnosing tracking problems, and making decisions from imperfect data. - Advanced proficiency with SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz, including on-page optimization and link building. - Aggressive, hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day marketing work, and the ability to raise the team's AI proficiency. - Strong knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem and how to position WordPress plugins. - Experience running a structured operating cadence (EOS / Traction, OKRs, or similar) and managing competing priorities. - Exceptional written and verbal English communication. - Verifiable professional references. Bonus Qualifications - Direct experience with EOS / Traction. - Experience launching new products, not only promoting existing ones. - Familiarity with usage-based or AI pricing models and freemium-to-paid funnels. - Experience with Uncanny Owl plugins, LearnDash, or integration/automation platforms such as Zapier or Make. Ideal Candidate Profile - An owner who takes an inherited strategy and makes it better, rather than waiting for direction. - A player-coach who is comfortable both leading a team and doing the work. - Results-focused and disciplined about priorities — able to say "not this quarter" and explain why. - Self-motivated with strong follow-through in a remote, high-autonomy environment. - Growth-oriented and receptive to direct feedback. Benefits - Competitive salary, dependent on skills and experience. - Health expense benefits (where applicable). - Fully remote work. - Company travel coverage, including an annual all-company retreat. - The opportunity to own growth for two established WordPress products and work alongside an experienced, AI-forward team.
