Guidewire Solution Architect

Exavalu

• Led end-to-end architecture, design, and technical implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). • Provide technical leadership and strategic direction across multiple projects. • Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. • Design and document integration strategies using Guidewire APIs, plugins, messaging, and third-party systems. • Define architecture standards, best practices, and development guidelines. • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with security standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams. • Mentor and guide developers and junior architects in Guidewire development best practices. • Support pre-sales activities, including technical proposals and effort estimation. • Ensure delivery alignment with enterprise architecture and client expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years as a Guidewire architect.
  • Strong expertise in at least one of the Guidewire core systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Deep understanding of Guidewire Configuration and Integration, including Gosu language.
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in designing REST/SOAP APIs and integration with external systems.
  • Strong understanding of database design, web services, message queues, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Certifications (Optional): Guidewire Certified Specialist (in ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter), AWS or Azure Cloud Certifications, TOGAF or other architecture frameworks (desirable).
