Role Description As our first GTM Engineer, you’ll be architecting the systems that make our entire go-to-market team move faster and smarter. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with direct visibility to leadership. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical execution, building automated revenue engines that compound over time. Your work will progress through: - Data foundation: keep CRM and data records clean, deduped, and trustworthy through automated enrichment, schema audits, and ownership rules. - Data modeling: collect unique data points that predict purchase, expansion, or churn; build propensity scores, define ICP attributes, and enrich AI-powered signals. - Data activation: deploy those data points in revenue-generating workflows: automated outreach, meeting notes, churn-risk nudges, and sales enablement at scale. Key Responsibilities - AI-powered revenue automation: - Build automated workflows that replace manual seller research, CRM updates, and follow-up sequences using AI and enrichment tools like Clay, n8n, and Zapier. - Design and deploy signal-based outbound systems by monitoring competitor activity, intent signals, and trigger events to launch personalized campaigns at speed. - Automate account research, scoring, and prioritization so reps spend time selling, not preparing. - Automate retention and expansion plays: analyze support tickets to predict churn and trigger targeted outreach before renewal. - CRM Engineering & Data Foundation: - Administer and architect our CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) end to end workflows, pipelines, fields, integrations, and data integrity. - Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, revenue forecasting, and sales performance. - Own data quality from source to activation clean, enriched, and structured so every downstream system actually works. - Run automated enrichment jobs, deduplication routines, and audit processes so the team spends time on strategy, not data hygiene. - GTM systems and process design: - Design scalable, documented sales processes from lead handoff to close. - Evaluate and manage the sales tech stack, cutting noise and identifying tools that create real leverage. - Support territory planning, quota setting, and commission tracking in partnership with leadership. - Partner with finance on revenue forecasting and headcount planning. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to align on shared metrics, tooling, and processes. - Act as the internal expert on GTM tooling. - Identify revenue bottlenecks across the funnel, write specs, ship prototypes, and scale what works. Qualifications - 3–9 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, or a closely related function. - Hands-on CRM experience with HubSpot or Salesforce administration, not just usage. - Demonstrated experience building automated workflows using tools like Clay, Zapier, n8n, Bolt, TypeScript, Python, SQL, Lovable, or similar. - Comfortable building reports, interpreting data, and presenting insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with pipeline forecasting, quota analysis, and sales performance reporting. - Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build from scratch in a fast-moving environment. - Background in a tech company startup or enterprise; we value both. Preferred Qualifications - Experience at an AI, SaaS, or data infrastructure company. - Familiarity with Outreach, ZoomInfo, Gong, Apollo, or similar GTM tooling. - Experience supporting a sales team through a funding round or significant growth phase. - Exposure to commission plan administration or incentive compensation tools. - Python or Typescript experience for customer automation scripts. - A builder's mindset: someone who sees a manual process and immediately thinks about how to automate it. Compensation - Base salary range: $90,000 - $147,000 annually (Base salary is commensurate with experience and location). - Annual performance bonus. Benefits - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (80% employer-paid). - Unlimited PTO policy with 15 days minimum. - 11 paid company holidays. - Professional Development: - Annual training and certification budget. - Access to online learning platforms. - Conference attendance opportunities. - Regular internal technical workshops and knowledge sharing sessions. Work Environment - Location: On-site in Dallas HQ preferred; remote candidates will be considered. - High-performance workstations. - Modern office space in Dallas with standing desks and ergonomics equipment. - Monthly team events and learning sessions. - Collaborative in-office environment fostering innovation and teamwork.
