Job Description

SAP Technical Delivery Manager

RTX

• Track end-to-end delivery of Integration/Interface objects being developed for the PST program go-lives • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, and budgets • Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP development, workstreams, architecture, QA, infrastructure, and vendors • Track and report project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, quality expectations, and enterprise policies • Support production releases, cutover activities, and post-deployment stabilization • Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes and metrics

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/ regulations and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and technology delivery
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience delivering SAP Greenfield and Brownfield implementations
  • Experience delivering enterprise or large-scale technology initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Background in software development, systems integration, or architecture
  • Project management or Agile certification (PMP, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)

Role Description Steampunk is seeking a Project Manager who is creative and is a hands-on expert with delivering innovative technology solutions. You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. Working with our team's Technical Lead, you will ensure that any designs align with our client's objectives. One of your key functions is to learn how things worked in the past, present data about how things are now, and show how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams.
