Role Description Steampunk is seeking a Project Manager who is creative and is a hands-on expert with delivering innovative technology solutions. You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. Working with our team's Technical Lead, you will ensure that any designs align with our client's objectives. One of your key functions is to learn how things worked in the past, present data about how things are now, and show how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams. Qualifications - Authorized to work for any U.S. employee and ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance - 4+ years managing IT projects using agile methodologies and approaches - 4+ year experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies - 4+ years hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience - Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence - Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions - Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people - Excellent interpersonal/communication skills - Experience working in a studio / human centered design approach Requirements - PMP or PMI CAPM preferred - Certified Scrum Master Benefits - The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. - Annual salary is just one aspect of Steampunk’s total compensation package for employees. • Lead and manage project delivery from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. • Provide hands-on technical leadership, especially in areas such as Java, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms. • Develop and execute CI/CD pipelines, incorporating DevOps best practices and automation. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (development, infrastructure, security) to ensure seamless integration and deployment. • Ensure that technical excellence and deliverables align with business objectives. • Act as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. • Drive continuous improvement within delivery processes and implement innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.

• Project Leadership: Own the delivery lifecycle of complex technical initiatives. You will practice holistic ownership, connecting daily engineering actions to our broader 2026 company goals and ensuring value is delivered, not just tasks checked off. • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary translation layer between engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. You will actively seek clarification to ensure understanding and define clear project scopes that drive long-term success. • Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate future trends and roadblocks. You will identify dependencies and risks early, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the team remains reliable. • Workflow Optimization: Champion continuous improvement by leveraging feedback as an upgrade path. You will use data and analytics to refine our development processes, ensuring we remain agile and efficient as we scale. • Execution & Communication: Facilitate clear, active listening and communication across the organization. You will manage daily execution via Kanban to minimize the burden on leaders and keep the team focused on high-impact work.

• Coordinate AI projects from initial concept through pilot phases to successful deployment, in coordination with the department lead or requestor seeking the new AI tool or technology. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to anticipate and prioritize AI opportunities. • Conduct research and analysis of emerging AI technologies and platforms, proposing the most suitable tools based on defined requirements of the requestor. • Evaluate vendors including pricing analysis and solution selection. • Lead the coordination of cross-functional AI pilots and evaluate their results. • Document technical requirements, usage scenarios, and best practices for AI tools. • Assist in managing organizational change and responsible for ensuring adoption of AI solutions. • Maintain up-to-date records on AI tools, relevant policies, and procedural documentation. • Deliver regular progress reports and insights to senior leadership. • Partner with Learning and Development (L&D) to provide training content and assist with facilitation when training staff on new AI solutions.
