Engineering Technical Specialist – Associate, Mid-Level

• Register labs in appropriate tracking tools and ensure labs meet and exceed safety, FOD, lean/5S, Cybersecurity and configuration control standards • Assist in managing and maintaining compliance of GTE lab equipment and inventories • Assist in the management of System Security Plans • Assist in the management of the configuration of the devices within GTE labs • System administration for systems within the GTE labs • Identify GTE lab growth requirements and work with facilities to meet the requirements • Maintain lab schedules and assist in coordination of activities of the lab • Perform lab surveillance checklists, assist in resolving day-to-day issues in the lab

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience supporting complex systems or programs
  • Experience working in an engineering lab environment and/or supporting operations management
  • 3 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years’ experience working with technical infrastructure configurations such as servers, databases, networks, development environments, services and software
  • 1+ years’ experience in both program physical security and cyber security
  • 1+ years’ experience in classified program requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an engineering lab
  • Active US Security Clearance
  • Experience managing test venues or integration laboratories
  • Experience in software development, IT/networking, systems engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or other similar technical disciplines
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
