Role Description Reporting to the Manager, Underwriting, the Sr. Underwriter will work in a fast-paced environment with their primary responsibility to provide quality credit decisions on residential mortgage default insurance applications. This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy within the department. - Underwrite and decision applications for residential mortgage insurance according to Sagen guidelines and policies, including the comprehensive review of appraisals. - Deliver best-in-class customer service by actively handling internal and external customer service inquiries raised by our customers and/or field staff. - Develop strong customer relationships with key lender accounts and promote the company’s products. - Effectively partner with Sagen’s sales team to provide underwriting and credit expertise to our customers and sales staff. - Proactively manage tasks within predetermined service level agreements and in accordance with operational risk controls. - Keep up to date on applicable legislation and the company’s policies, products, and procedures. Qualifications - Previous residential mortgage experience and working knowledge of real estate is an asset. - In-depth knowledge of credit risk analysis, residential underwriting practices, and mortgage lending products. - Strong analytical skills and independent decision-making capabilities, including demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving and risk mitigation skills. - Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and to perform well in a high volume, high intensity environment. - Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (verbal and written). - Strong customer service orientation and negotiating skills. - Ability to work effectively independently and in a team setting to accomplish goals and complete tasks. - Ability to work shifts within extended hours of operations: 8:00am to 9:00pm EST. - University or college degree is preferred. • Investigate customer project needs by working with sales, account managers, and consultants to understand project success criteria and technical requirements • Perform project plan design to meet the critical path and customer timeframes; employ project charters, RAID Logs, and business requirement documents • Lead the project by assigning tasks to Engineers and communicating statuses to customers through status update meetings • Keep project resources on task, maintain project plan data, drive projects to completion, and activate Monthly Recurring Revenue • Effectively communicate with client technical and non-technical staff by creating digestible project plans that organize tasks into appropriate phases • Lead meetings, migrations, enrollments, moves, surveys, and cutovers at client sites where appropriate • Quickly respond to client inquiries and needs by being highly available

• Provide insights and business intelligence to stakeholders, within and outside of Finance, through high quality and fact-based financial and operational analyses • Learn and embrace new analytics methodologies, approach, and data management • Collaborate with other team members to build basic business cases and obtain appropriate approval by the Senior Leadership Team • Bring business meaning to data by pulling information from various data sources, aggregating and synthesizing data using queries, Excel and other BI tools, and communicating the results in an effective and efficient manner • Assist in the creation of new reporting that business can run on their own while helping to maintain data integrity and accuracy of those distributed reports • Ensure that business stakeholders have access to timely, relevant, and accurate financial and operational reporting

• The Senior Analyst, Finance Transformation will serve as a versatile execution lead within the Finance Transformation Office. • This role is responsible for driving the digital, analytical, and project management components of Ford’s Finance evolution. • The Senior Analyst will support high-priority strategic initiatives—ranging from workforce capability building to process optimization—ensuring that our digital platforms are intuitive and our transformation data is actionable. • This individual must be highly adaptable, capable of pivoting between different workstreams as the transformation roadmap evolves, and deeply committed to a continuous improvement approach.
