Role Description The Senior Fraud Investigations Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Fraud, is responsible for conducting comprehensive reviews of mortgage insurance applications to support the detection and prevention of fraudulent information. The role supports the ability of Operations to reduce overall fraud related risks, drive fraud awareness education and ongoing improvement to the overall customer experience and the mortgage industry. This position is being posted to fill a new position recently created. - Complete in-depth investigations and analysis into all aspects of mortgage fraud transactions by extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems and tools. - Establish and leverage internal and external relationships with customers, industry partners and investigative bodies to support the development and implementation of fraud detection and prevention solutions. - Analyze transactional data to identify fraud patterns, system, and procedural weakness and required data/information to provide recommendations for innovative process improvement solutions. - Prepare and distribute analytics reporting and presentations to communicate departmental and portfolio performance as it pertains to frauds/misrepresentations. - Presentation of investigative conclusions/findings and recommendations to Operations Management. - Collaborate with Loss Mitigation, Risk, Sales, and Underwriting Operations to help influence and assist in the development and maintenance of fraud/risk related policies, guidelines, and operational processes. - Participate in industry related committees/associations where available to maintain knowledge of current fraud trends, tools, and information. - Develop, maintain and deliver fraud and misrepresentation training to internal and external customers to communicate and reinforce the importance of Fraud Management and ensure a clear understanding in French and English. - Participate in various special projects as required. - Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service. - Support Operations stakeholders ability to deliver established SLAs through timely resolution of investigations. Role Description The Mortgage Information Specialist, reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, works in a high-volume contact centre answering general mortgage insurance questions, responding to specific information requests on Sagen products and corresponding with customers and appraisal management companies on outstanding orders. - Provide the highest level of customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume contact centre environment. - Respond to general mortgage insurance questions and specific mortgage insurance product information requests received via a toll-free phone number and email. - Provide accurate premium calculations and quotes to our lender partners. - Support the National Underwriting Centre by following up on outstanding appraisals as required. - Administer and provide ongoing support to lender partners with respect to Sagen systems. - Process emails and documentation received for pending mortgage insurance applications. Qualifications - Bilingual – Fluent in English and French (written and verbal). - Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma. - Prior experience working with mortgages and credit is an asset. - Demonstrated customer service skills including experience working in an inbound contact centre environment. - Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to multi-task. - Possess basic computer skills to facilitate the exchange of emails, accessing the Internet, managing files, or creating basic reports or presentations. Role Description Reporting to the Manager, Underwriting, the Sr. Underwriter will work in a fast-paced environment with their primary responsibility to provide quality credit decisions on residential mortgage default insurance applications. Customer Events - Oversee various customer events in collaboration with your leader, regional team and the Business Development Leaders to create strong, in-depth relationship with our customers. - Attend Industry events to support our customers and build strong, lasting relationships. Data and Product Insights - In collaboration with the Analytics and Insights team review data to support your territory growth and the performance of your customers. - Use data to enhance and validate your territory strategies. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of Sagen’s products and services to support your customers and provide an excellent customer experience. - Continually collaborate with the Underwriting team to ensure understanding of policies and guidelines. Sales Training and Development - Identify and respond to customer training needs to create greater clarity and understanding of various Mortgage Insurance policies, products and services. What we are looking for. - Proven experience being in a proactive customer-facing position - University degree, preferably in business - Minimum 3 years sales experience in the financial services industry (preferably mortgage lending) - In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and customer management (sales methodology - relationship & value add selling) - Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, presentation and computer skills - Ability to deliver results with minimum supervision, in a fast-paced environment - Organizational skills, problem solving, and analytical skills are key for success - Travel required within the territory. - Must be a self-starter and results oriented with the ability to work both independently and within a team setting - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and perform well in a high-volume environment. #LI-Remote What's In It for you!
