Salesforce Architect

Vanta

• Own solution design and technical architecture of Vanta's Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance • Lead a team of Salesforce Developers and work closely a team of Salesforce Admins and Product Managers, providing architectural guidance and technical direction • Own the CI/CD and deployment process using Gearset, driving faster release cycles, automation, and improved developer experience • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and Vanta's product to enable end-to-end provisioning, self-service, and product-led growth • Partner with GTM Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, EPD, and Product to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Define platform governance standards including data models, integration patterns, security controls, and development best practices • Drive platform optimization initiatives to improve performance, reduce technical debt, and enhance user experience • Lead AI and automation initiatives to increase GTM team productivity • Provide technical escalation support for complex platform issues

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience with deep expertise in solution design, platform architecture, data modeling, and integrations
  • 3+ years leading technical teams with a track record of developing technical talent
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce architecture including Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Flow, and declarative automation
  • Strong experience owning CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes with tools like Gearset, with focus on automation and developer productivity
  • Proven ability to design complex integrations with third-party systems, internal platforms, and product APIs
  • Experience supporting product-led growth (PLG) motions, self-service workflows, and automated provisioning
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security model and governance best practices
  • Experience with integration platforms (Workato, n8n, or similar) and modern DevOps practices
  • Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect) strongly preferred
  • Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
