Managed Services Account Manager

Plum Inc

Role Description We're looking for a professional, client-focused Managed Services Account Manager to lead service delivery and relationship management for our portfolio of commercial real estate clients. In this role, you’ll not only manage client relationships and ensure service satisfaction, but also contribute to operational improvements, growth initiatives, and marketing efforts. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys the challenge of supporting both traditional industries and cutting-edge tech. Key Responsibilities: - Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned managed services accounts, with a focus on driving revenue growth and ensuring we exceed their expectations. - Service Coordination: Ensure client implementations and engagements remain on schedule by providing the data science team with clear direction and priorities. Oversee the execution of client campaigns and strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery of services, solutions, and prompt resolution of any issues. - Strategic Advising: Help clients align their technology strategy with business goals—especially around CRM and emerging AI tools to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. - Upselling & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand services and improve client outcomes; assist with scoping proposals and presenting new offerings. - Reporting & Recommendations: Deliver regular service reviews, usage reports, and tailored, actionable recommendations that highlight PLUM’s impact and demonstrate ongoing value to each client. - Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate on internal initiatives including onboarding workflows, documentation, and support processes. - Marketing & Messaging: Contribute to customer success stories, industry-focused content, and sales enablement materials. Qualifications - 2+ years of account management, customer success, or IT service delivery experience—preferably within a managed services provider (MSP) or IT consultancy. - Experience in Commercial Real Estate a must. - Exceptional communication, organization, and relationship-building skills. - 4 year college degree. - Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and remote support systems. - Comfortable in a startup setting—flexible, self-directed, and solution-oriented. - Experience working with AI startups (e.g. data science, ML ops) a plus but not required. - A proven track record of analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Requirements - We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above. If your experience looks a little different from our requirements (CRE exp is required), but you believe that you can still bring value to the role, we’d love to see your application! Benefits - A fast-paced, collaborative startup culture with high visibility. - Autonomy, flexibility, and a flat corporate structure that gives you the opportunity for your direct input to be realized and put into action. - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in building a company and culture. - Equity in a financial technology startup. - Generous health, dental, and vision coverage for employees and family members + 401K. - Eleven paid holidays and unlimited discretionary vacation days. - Competitive compensation and bonus potential. - California: Salary range is $85,000-$100,000k.
