Job Description
Solution Architect
PCG DACH
• Technical consulting in pre-sales: You support our sales team as the technical advisor. You translate complex business requirements into feasible solution designs and persuade clients with your professional expertise and approachability. • Architecture design & blueprinting: You design robust, secure, and scalable software architectures for modern cloud platforms and actively support their implementation in project work. • Technology initiatives & workshops: You design and lead inspiring tech workshops (e.g., on AI transformation or cloud strategies). You show clients what is technologically possible and thereby lay the foundation for successful collaboration. • Technical bridge role & mentoring: You are the link between vision and code. You support our delivery teams hands‑on during implementation, ensure architectural quality through code and system reviews, and act as a sparring partner for development. • Client consulting & initiative driver: Even during implementation, you remain the technical contact for the client. You identify follow-up needs and new technological potentials (e.g., legacy replacement) and feed these insights back to our sales team.
Job Requirements
- You bring several years of experience in a comparable role and have your roots in active software development or the DevOps area.
- You have a deep understanding of modern software ecosystems and solid experience with common cloud platforms and modern CI/CD setups.
- You are a people person, not a silent thinker: you can explain complex IT topics to non-technical stakeholders, listen attentively, and skillfully moderate between different stakeholders.
- You have an eye for what is feasible, keep budgets in mind, and find pragmatic solutions rather than getting lost in perfectionism.
- A consistent “Security by Design” approach is a given for you to create future-proof and resilient systems.
- You communicate confidently and fluently in German and English.
Benefits
- Pure flexibility: Work how it fits your life — remote within Germany, hybrid, or from one of our offices in Germany (Magstadt, Darmstadt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Ulm, Heidelberg, Frankfurt).
- Workation: Work and discover new places — enjoy up to 30 days of workation per year and combine job and adventure.
- Time off: Recharge with 30 days of vacation per year.
- Your hardware, your choice: Mac, Windows, or Linux — you decide what you prefer to work with.
- Career development: Training, labs and certifications at AWS, Azure, Google & SAP — we boost your cloud know-how.
- Feedback that matters: Regular development and salary reviews so you always know where you stand.
- More than the basics: Choose between Spendit Card, Wellpass, or the Deutschlandticket (public transport pass). On top, childcare subsidy and bike leasing as additional benefits for life outside the laptop.
- Team spirit: From team events to the summer party and Christmas celebration — we celebrate successes together.
