Role Description As Sales Executive, your mission is to turn qualified opportunities into closed revenue. You will own the full sales cycle, build relationships with industrial customers, create urgency around fire prevention, and help us scale ARR toward $10M+. - Own a quota for new ARR and expansion opportunities. - Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close. - Sell to plant managers, maintenance leaders, safety teams, procurement, executives, and owners. - Run discovery calls, product demos, site visits, ROI discussions, proposals, and negotiations. - Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through outbound, inbound, trade fairs, referrals, and partner introductions. - Translate customer pain into a clear business case for AVIAN. - Work closely with marketing on lead follow-up, event conversion, and campaign feedback. - Work closely with implementation and product teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff. - Maintain strong CRM discipline across pipeline, next steps, forecasts, and deal notes. - Bring market feedback back to the team, so we can improve our pitch, product, and process. This is a hands-on sales role. You will prospect, qualify, demo, travel, negotiate, and close. Qualifications - Proven B2B sales experience in a startup, scale-up, or high-growth commercial environment. - Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Experience selling complex or technical products. - Ability to sell to operational and executive stakeholders. - Strong discovery, qualification, negotiation, and closing skills. - Ability to build trust quickly with industrial customers. - Comfortable with outbound prospecting and pipeline creation. - Strong CRM discipline and experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar. - Clear communication, strong follow-up, and high ownership. - Bias for action and willingness to learn quickly. - Fluent English. - Willingness to travel for customers, trade fairs, partners, and team meetings. Requirements - Experience in industrial IoT, fire prevention, predictive maintenance, machine vision, automation, safety tech, insurance-tech, or hardware-enabled SaaS. - Experience selling into manufacturing, wood processing, recycling, paper, logistics, or other high-risk industrial sectors. - Experience working with insurers, brokers, integrators, OEMs, or fire-safety partners. - German language skills. - Based in Zurich, Europe, or a major US industrial hub.
