Ehvert Mission Critical
• Support the design and documentation of control systems for mission-critical projects, including large-scale data centers. • Develop and produce control system design drawings and models using Revit. • Support the design of building automation and control systems for HVAC and related systems under the guidance of senior engineers. • Assist with layout, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel designs for control systems. • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and consistent design delivery. • Contribute to low-voltage system design efforts, including controls, fire alarm, and related systems as needed. • Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project standards. • Support design reviews by incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions. • Assist with the preparation of submittals, as-built drawings, and commissioning documentation. • Follow internal QA/QC processes and applicable industry standards and codes.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in controls design, building systems, or extra low-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required - not less than 1 year of constant using.
- Basic understanding of BAS/BMS systems, DDC controls, and integration with HVAC systems.
- Exposure to fire alarm and/or other low-voltage systems (security, communications) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow technical direction.

Role Description Echo Power is seeking an experienced Engineering Designer to lead design efforts on complex engineering projects supporting critical infrastructure, healthcare, industrial, and utility environments. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical resource within the design team, collaborating closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and cross-functional disciplines to deliver high-quality, code-compliant project documentation and technical solutions.
