Program Manager
WiredPeople, Inc.
• Ensure the collective output of all projects aligns with the goals and objectives. • Establish reporting structures, standards, and rules of engagement for all project managers within the program. • Navigate high-level executive relationships and expectations, serving as a liaison with external partners. • Identify and manage inter-project dependencies to ensure smooth execution across the program. • Strategically allocate budgets and personnel to highest-priority initiatives. • Measure and report on how program activities improve business outcomes after project completion. • Facilitate project execution by creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), managing critical paths, and leveling resources to prevent team burnout. • Oversee day-to-day project activities, including budget tracking, quality control, and facilitating daily stand-ups. • Develop and maintain key project artifacts, such as Business and Technical Requirements Documents (BRD/TRD), "as-is" and "to-be" solution models, and wireframes. • Provide regular status updates, reports, and other required documentation to the Contract Manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 5 years of experience managing an IT program area.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
- A Project Management certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Demonstrated expertise in technical writing, documentation, and document version control.
- Strong understanding of business processes, information systems, and key performance drivers.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with IT projects within Florida State Agencies is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Florida's legislative reporting practices (e.g., Operational Work Plans, spend plans).
