We are seeking a Techno-Functional Analytics Consultant to lead end-to-end client analytics programs. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, and delivery. The consultant will partner closely with client stakeholders to understand business processes and data, co-design analytics solutions, guide hands-on analysis, oversee delivery execution, and clearly articulate business value to executive audiences. Responsibilities: - Client Engagement & Problem Framing - Lead discovery to understand client business processes, decision workflows, and data landscape - Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytics questions and solution hypotheses - Facilitate working sessions with client teams to brainstorm solution approaches and trade-offs - Analytics Design & Hands-on Analysis - Perform hands-on exploratory analysis to validate assumptions and inform solution design - Define analytical frameworks, KPIs, and metrics aligned to business outcomes - Guide data modeling, feature selection, and methodological choices in collaboration with the delivery team - Delivery Oversight - Provide functional and technical oversight to the analytics delivery team (data engineers, analysts, data scientists) - Ensure analytical outputs are robust, scalable, and aligned to client decision-making needs - Review outputs for accuracy, clarity, and business relevance - Executive Communication & Value Ownership - Synthesize complex analysis into clear, executive-level narratives and recommendations - Present insights, solution design, and outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders - Define, measure, and articulate realized and potential business value from analytics initiatives
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics consulting, data strategy, or business intelligence roles
- Strong understanding of business processes and how analytics supports decision-making
- Hands-on experience with data analysis (SQL, Python/R, BI tools, or equivalent)
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation
- Proven experience leading client-facing analytics engagements
- Experience leading large or multi-phase analytics programs
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
- Strong storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Prior experience in retail, consumer, supply chain, or B2B analytics is preferred
