Software Engineer Locations - US, Arizona, Phoenix Full time Hybrid Job Description: Intel's Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) team is looking for a versatile Software & Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and distributed systems that power semiconductor manufacturing and testing operations. This hybrid position combines software engineering expertise with infrastructure ownership, requiring you to manage full-stack solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll be responsible for the complete technology stack, from servers and virtual machines to Kubernetes clusters, networking, and application services. What You'll Do Software Development & Architecture - Design, develop, test, and debug cloud-native applications, platform services, and automation tools that support STTD operations - Build and maintain distributed systems including APIs, microservices, data services, and job orchestration platforms with focus on reliability and performance Infrastructure & Platform Management - Deploy and manage infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including servers, VMs, and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters - Support on-premises compute and virtualization platforms, enabling scalable environments for development, testing, and production workloads DevOps & Automation - Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code principles - Manage OS lifecycle operations including patching, validation, and change management processes Operations & Support - Provide operational support through monitoring, logging, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides Qualifications: The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
