Role Description Liberty Mutual’s North America Legal Team seeks a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and collaborative attorney to support its North America business unit, with specific responsibility for providing legal support to Liberty’s Casualty line of business and Programs portfolio across North America. The role spans both admitted and non-admitted (E&S) products and markets. The successful candidate will partner closely with leaders and teams in Casualty, Programs, Product Development, and Product Management to enable profitable growth while mitigating legal risk. Day-to-day activities will include: - Providing advice on time-sensitive transactions. - Analyzing and advising on issues related to regulatory compliance across admitted and E&S platforms. - Supporting Product Development and Product Management on new product development and product maintenance initiatives. - Counseling clients on product distribution arrangements (including programs). - Coordinating across legal teams to solve complex problems. Expertise in domestic insurance regulation is required, and familiarity and experience with commercial insurance products, delegated authority arrangements, and claims handling is preferred.
