HR, People Operations Specialist

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and processes • Support documentation, letters, and HR-related communications • Coordinate and deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new hires • Partner with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful employee integration • Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and programs • Manage and maintain HRIS and other HR/People systems • Generate reports and dashboards to support People analytics and decision-making; ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies • Support audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements • Assist in updating and maintaining employee handbook and relevant HR policies • Support administration of compensation and benefits programs • Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, ad-hoc audits, and reporting • Assist with benefits enrollment and employee queries • Support recruiting operations including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer coordination • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth candidate experience • Assist in implementing People programs and process improvements; contribute to building scalable processes and documentation • Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration • Maintain and proactively audit employee data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality • Assist with monthly and ad-hoc HR reporting and analytics (headcount, attrition, compensation tracking/changes, etc.) • Partner with the HR Generalist on employee relations, policies, documentation, and compliance initiatives • Coordinate and support key HR processes such as performance reviews, benefits administration, and internal communications • Respond to employee inquiries and provide a high level of service and support • Help schedule candidate interviews for the North America team to support our hiring needs • Support cross-functional, global operational initiatives led by the HR team (L&D initiatives, All Hands, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employment practices
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a bias toward action
- 3-5+ years of experience in HR, People Ops, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with HRIS systems and tools (e.g., Justworks, Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where flexibility is key
- Familiarity with modern recruiting tools and ATS platforms
- Experience supporting global or distributed teams
- Exposure to compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Interest in People analytics, systems, and process improvement
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
