Role Description Responsible for formulating and defining complex information systems scope and objectives through research, analysis, testing, and fact-finding combined with a comprehensive understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Serves as a pro-active business partner and as part of a North American team to enable business through technology in an integrated enterprise systems environment. Understands current market trends and best practices and formulates some propositions to enhance the business performance. - First level contact for the business for any inquiries including systems support, improvement analyses, and advice. - Provides ongoing responsibility for system failure prevention, system issue escalations and user inquiries, including regular system maintenance and support which may require evening, weekend, and on-call support. - Seeks constant improvement opportunities and appropriately challenges processes to ensure consistency. Facilitates process improvement discussions with business, vendors and IT. - Responsible for evaluating and developing reliable and efficient solutions to fulfill complex business requirements. - Responsible for system requirements, detailed functional specifications, compliance, system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance, and deployment. Provides post-implementation process and application support. May act as work stream leader from start to finish on a project/product lifecycle. - Generates ideas for products and services that provide realistic and tangible benefit. - Provides leadership and training to less experienced Analysts and cross training as appropriate. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in IT and/or expert system/process understanding management or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analytics. Additionally strong vendor management skillsets. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in systems solution design, integration or development. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management. - Business Area Process detailed experience in relevant field - Finance. - Compliance: internal and external audit, Sarbanes-Oxley. - Well versed in systems integration, including Cloud platforms. - Preferred: Experience in the Consumer Products Goods industry. - Expertise in supporting ERP systems and other Finance Applications. - Advanced knowledge of cloud-based platform integrations and solutions, for example, SAP, Concur, Lease Accelerator, SAGE, or equivalent experience with similar applications. - Knowledge with AI tools and the ability to apply them to drive business value. Requirements - In-depth understanding of relevant business process within the area of the business they will support – Finance. - Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail. - Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. - Ability to work additional hours/OT as needed. - Project management skills in technical or business area. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively. - Self-motivated and strong analytical/problem solving skills. - Ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. - Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry. - Experience supporting key business systems for area of focus – For example, SAP, Blue Yonder, Oracle EPM, Workday, etc. Or equivalent experience with other similar applications.
