Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Email Marketing Coder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying email marketing campaigns across various internal systems, ensuring high-quality performance, and maintaining a strong adherence to industry best practices. You will work closely with the creative, marketing, and technical teams to bring designs to life and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing our email marketing efforts and contributing to the overall success of our digital strategy. - Email Coding & Development: Code responsive email templates based on design files provided by the creative team or direction from marketing managers. Ensure emails are optimized for various devices and email clients. - Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting: Perform QA on HTML email files using tools such as Litmus, EmailOnAcid, or other similar inbox rendering tools. Troubleshoot and resolve any rendering or deliverability issues that arise during testing. - Link Tracking: Generate and implement tracking codes for all links within email campaigns to ensure accurate performance tracking and reporting. - Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with marketing leads to define the scope for new projects, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth within the email marketing strategy. - Industry Best Practices Compliance: Ensure that all email campaigns deployed across multiple internal systems adhere to industry best practices regarding design, accessibility, deliverability, and user engagement. - Campaign Deployment: Oversee the deployment of email campaigns, ensuring timely execution while maintaining the integrity and quality of the final output. Qualifications - Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Klaviyo, Braze, Attentive or any other ESP. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL, and email scripting languages such as Ampscript or Jinja. - Strong experience with hand-coding HTML and CSS, particularly for responsive email design. - 3 to 5 years of experience in the email marketing field, with a focus on email production, preferably using large enterprise email platforms. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners. - Strong client-service skills with an ability to manage expectations and deadlines. - Solid understanding of email technologies, best practices, and current trends. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize campaigns for performance and deliverability. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines with minimal oversight.
