• The Teamcenter Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions within an advanced Software and Enterprise Solutions team supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs. • This role focuses on Teamcenter customization, configuration, and system integration, leveraging Siemens development frameworks including BMIDE, ITK, SOA services, and Active Workspace extensions. • The developer will support enterprise PLM implementations by translating business and engineering requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions that integrate with other enterprise platforms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Teamcenter technical solutions and configurations. • Evaluate business/technical requirements for Teamcenter enhancements, extensions and integrations, providing level of effort estimates to support Agile sprint planning and cost estimation. • Design, develop, and deploy Teamcenter customization including: BMIDE data model extensions, ITK custom handlers and exits, SOA-based services, Workflow templates, and process automation. • Support integration projects between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, or supply chain systems. • Develop and maintain Teamcenter user interfaces. • Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing ensuring Teamcenter configuration and customizations meet functional, performance, and security requirements. • Debug and resolve complex application/customization defects and issues. • Provide training and support to end-users on custom Teamcenter functionalities.
Job Requirements
- Currently hold Siemens certifications for Teamcenter.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM software, specifically in customization development.
- Experience collaborating with the Siemens Technical Support & Siemens Government Technologies organizations.
- Strong programming skills leveraging Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.
- Experience developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions.
- Experience supporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile software development environments.
- Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, integration architecture, commercial insurance systems, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple delivery and support teams, ensure platform stability and scalability, and collaborate closely with business, architecture, product, and delivery stakeholders to support commercial insurance and reinsurance operations.
