Role Description - Develop and validate photonics reference designs for various passive and active photonics devices. - Perform nominal simulations as well as manufacturing variation studies for each reference design, using provided GDSII files and process parameters. - Assist with testing, formatting, and publication of new photonics examples based on completed reference designs. - Review existing training materials and identify gaps; help produce updated collateral aligned with photonic design workflows. - Work closely with Silvaco Photonics simulation and Dev teams to better understand tool usage and achieve the objectives above. Qualifications - Junior/Senior-level undergraduate or Graduate student (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Photonics. - Knowledge and coursework in photonics, electromagnetics, semiconductor device physics. - Experience in semiconductor industry preferred. - Experience in international and remote team building preferred. Role Description Xplore Field Technicians are proud to be the face of the Xplore brand, performing the best installation and repair services for our residential and business customers. We are looking for a Dispatcher – Installation Technician to be located in our Fredericton or Woodstock, NB or Cornwall, ON or remotely from Nova Scotia/Newfoundland location. Role Description The Electrophysiology Field Clinical Specialist will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse (FARAPULSE - Pulsed Field Ablation System - Boston Scientific) system during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. In addition, you will also specialize with our wider portfolio including POLARx and Opal equipment. This remote field-based role offers a permanent position and covers Portugal. - Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system, and software development. - Educates customers and internal Boston Scientific employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of the Farapulse device by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to keep all abreast of the latest product and technology developments. - Attends cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of the Farapulse system and its components. - Providing initial and continuous, as needed, training and feedback for development team and sales representatives (as appropriate) on Farapulse, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features. - Meets with existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling (in an automobile or airplane) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals. - Develops relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospitals and to identify key decision makers to facilitate future sales. - Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions. - This remote field-based role will require travel (approximately 80%) across Portugal. Qualifications - Successfully completed studies within Biomedical Sciences/Engineering (or a similar subject area), preferably within electrophysiology. - At least 8-10 years of professional industry experience in a similar role having worked with mapping systems. - Experience with Opal mapping is beneficial. - Strong communication skills. - Can understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details. - Professional working proficiency language skills in both Portuguese and English.
