The Senior Accountant will play a key role in driving the integrity and accuracy of our financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will: - Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations - Design, implement, and maintain effective accounting controls and business processes to ensure GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory and reporting requirements - Prepare company for PCAOB financial and control audits - Support SOX 404 compliance implementation, including documentation, testing, and enhancement of internal controls over financial reporting - Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memos supporting conclusions under U.S. GAAP - Own and manage various key accounting processes including cash, revenue, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, and accruals as needed - Perform detailed balance sheet and P&L reviews to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues before close is finalized - Partner cross-functionally with Finance and other business stakeholders to support reporting, planning, and operational initiatives - Serve as a subject-matter expert for the ERP and AP technology stack, supporting system maintenance, enhancements, and training for team members - Have opportunities to learn and own technical accounting, including stock-based compensation and internally developed software capitalization - Support external audits by preparing schedules and partnering closely with external auditors - Support and provide oversight for accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls - Create and maintain internal policies and advise internal management on best scalable practices and compliance with policy - Play a key role in the implementation of various new accounting software and tools as the company scales - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation; build and document scalable workflows, key accounting policies and procedures, and best practices. - Mentor and review work performed by other members of the Accounting and Accounts Payable team - Other responsibilities include but are not limited to participate in special projects, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses as assigned You have: - Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to interpret and apply them in financial reporting - Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting and data issues - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred - 3+ years of accounting experience with hands-on month-end close and general ledger responsibilities - Prior audit experience; Big 4 experience a plus but not required - Experience with 10-K/10-Q financial reporting at a public company - Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms. - Ability to optimize and troubleshoot accounting systems to ensure smooth operations - Experience with Ramp or comparable billing/invoicing tools - Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including comfort working with large, complex data set - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across teams - Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving environment and build structure where processes are still developing - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management and respond to questions with clarity and sound judgment Why Talkiatry: - Top-notch team: we're a diverse, experienced group motivated to make a difference in mental health care - Collaborative environment: be part of building something from the ground up at a fast-paced startup - Excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, effective day 1 of employment, 401K with match, generous PTO plus paid holidays, paid parental leave, and more! - Grow your career with us: hone your skills and build new ones with our Learning team as Talkiatry expands - It all comes back to care: we’re a mental health company, and we put our team’s well-being first

• Areas of financial accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable management • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) • Preparation of financial statements for foreign subsidiaries and execution of consolidations • Execution of payment runs and account reconciliations • Development and optimization of accounting processes and support for automating recurring tasks • Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners (e.g., tax advisors, auditors)

• Process daily accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate records in NetSuite. • Receive, post, and reconcile customer payments (cash, check, and credit card). • Provide oversight and management of customer account balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams. • Track and manage credit memos to ensure timely application, reconciliation, or refund in accordance with company policies. • Monitor and maintain retainage balances to ensure accuracy and timely resolution. • Analyze customer payment patterns and history to proactively manage collections activity. • Manage all collection efforts, including documenting activities and preparing aging and collection reports, including standard A/R and retainage balances. • Process and manage e-rate and USAC invoicing activities, ensuring compliance with required timelines and documentation. • Monitor USAC balances, track payment delays, and follow up to ensure timely processing and resolution. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Purchasing, Managed Services, and Project Services) to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and revenue recognition. • Act as a point of contact to resolve billing discrepancies, partnering with internal teams and customers to ensure timely resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service. • Prepare and recommend journal entries to reconcile customer balances with the general ledger. • Support audits and financial reviews by verifying entries, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy. • Generate reporting related to billing, collections, and overall A/R performance. • Provide backup support to other accounting team members as part of cross-training initiatives. • Assist the Controller and Finance leadership with ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

• Responsible for capturing, analyzing, forecasting, revenues, costs, assets and liabilities associated with specific projects. • Prepare projects in a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual manner. • Review with project teams the monthly project statements to ensure costs and results are properly reflected, noting substantial variances from budget. • Prepare monthly journal entries for project revenues, expenses, accruals, and related account analyses to complete the monthly close on a timely basis. • Assist with the completion of monthly management reports, including Flash reporting and business monthly reviews by providing timely, accurate detailed accounting records as it relates to projects and at the consolidated level. • Provides assistance and a resource for accounts payable to ensure costs are properly classified by project. • Fully support the annual audit with project data reports.
