Clinical System Engineer

• Support and maintain the company’s Healthcare Services clinical systems. • Train the company’s staff on applications. • Maintain up to date hardware standards that pertain to the applications. • Keep software updated to meet organizational needs. • Install new software releases, system upgrades, patches, and resolution of software related problems. • Provide guidance in the development of technical performance for systems such as RIS and PACS. • Collaborate with other members of Informatics on installation of computing and network hardware. • Design and implement workflow strategies, operation standards, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 5+ years of experience required
- Candidates must have experience in the healthcare industry clinical applications such as PACS and RIS systems
- Knowledge of clinical workflow and best practices in Oncology, Radiology or digital imaging
- Position requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within IT field
- Strong communications skills are required.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Strong internetworking (LAN) experience preferred.
