ServiceNow Administrator, CMDB, Domain Separation

• Responsible for maintaining CMDB data accuracy and CI relationship integrity. • Managing multi-tenant environments, domain-specific configurations, visibility rules, update set handling, and troubleshooting domain conflicts. • Perform day-to-day administration, including managing the technical configuration of the platform, building forms, and creating reports and dashboards. • Manage user accounts, roles, and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure appropriate access levels and platform security. • Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance and error identification/remediation, and manage the planning and execution of platform upgrades and patches. • Serve as a primary support resource for end-users and support teams, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues (incidents) related to the platform. • Gather requirements from stakeholders and implement minor enhancements, such as creating or modifying service catalog items and automated process flows/workflows (often using Flow Designer or JavaScript). • Create and maintain technical and user documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures, and assist with training end-users and other staff. • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, project managers, business users) to align the platform with organizational goals and contribute to continual service improvement initiatives within ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.).
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform administration, configuration, and ITSM operations.
- Strong technical foundation in automation, workflow design, and enterprise system support.
- Strong proficiency in configuring ServiceNow modules (ITSM required; ITOM, HRSD, SecOps a plus).
- Must have Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Domain Separation.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating scripts, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
- Solid understanding of IT operations concepts, relational databases, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential for interacting with technical teams and non-technical users alike.
- A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is good to have.
- ITIL Foundation certification is also beneficial.

• Coordinate with the CMDB PM, Government PM, and other key stakeholders while leading a team of ITOM Engineers • Design, implement, and configure ServiceNow Information Technology Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities • Participate in enterprise discovery workshops with CACI and Government stakeholders • Provide guidance to ITOM engineers and contribute to implementing the ITOM solution • Participate in Agile processes including Sprint Planning and Grooming Sessions • Contribute to updates to contract deliverables including the Architecture Plan, Detailed Design, Implementation Plan, and Test Plan • Support security assessments of the ITOM solution • Recommend policy changes to Government and support architecture and design changes throughout the CMDB lifecycle
