Role Description We are seeking a South African-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with 2–3 years of post-articles industry experience, ideally within the Financial Services or Banking sector (Not a deal breaker). This role is well-suited to a CA who thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable working independently, and can add immediate value within a fast-paced fintech ecosystem. This is a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain accurate financial accounting records in line with IFRS and internal controls. - Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, reconciliations, and reporting. - Support regulatory and compliance reporting relevant to a global digital banking environment. - Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, product, risk) to ensure financial integrity across operations. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing financial processes and systems. - Prepare management accounts, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial reports. - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all assigned accounting tasks within the contracted hours. Qualifications - CA(SA) qualification (required). - 2–3 years post-articles experience within Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or similar preferred. - Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and industry best practices. - High level of proficiency with accounting systems and Excel. - Ability to work self-managed in a remote environment. - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - South African residency with ability to work full-time remote.
