Technical Implementation Manager

• delivers the Company Gridstream Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution to the Company’s customers using a structured deployment project lifecycle to ensure quality in our delivery • Works with customer requirements to propose technical solutions • Acts as primary technical resource that collaborates with the client throughout a deployment project and partners with a customer to develop requirements and propose technical solutions • Performs customer system integration planning and implementation • Ensures network equipment meets customer technical specifications • Ensures network and software configurations meet customer technical requirements • Troubleshoots network and software performance problems and proposes remedy options • Provides functional and operational enhancement recommendations into the New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on client feedback • Directs & executes network rebalancing/optimization plans • Directs & implements new firmware, Device Control Word (DCW), and software releases with customer programs • Establishes and monitors system performance reporting, recognizing adverse trends and taking necessary preventative and corrective actions • Works closely with the Field Engineers to resolve complex issues relation to wireless communications and integrated software applications • Investigates system failures, registration failures, and interactive read failures in system deployments • Acts as liaison between Customer Operations Center, corporate development resources, and local project team to resolve technical issues • Supports creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for technical elements of the system that are effective and repeatable Directs and executes system upgrades including the network with new software releases
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. (Advanced degree desired)
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Experience in working with solutions involving both software and hardware
- Utility operations experience is a plus
- Business Process consulting experience a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Individual must live in Canada and be fully bilingual French/English.
- Experience with .NET framework and WebServices required.
- Experience with UNIX Sun Solaris required (vi, crontab, shell scripting, process monitoring, Perl) a plus.
- Experience with Oracle 10g required (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus.

Role Description As a Cloud Project Manager II, you will coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of cloud projects. Your responsibilities include: - Identifying, creating, developing and integrating innovative solutions and programs that reduce defects in the cloud. - Exercising strong judgment in the identification and execution of strategic improvement plans. - Anticipating bottlenecks, assessing risks, mitigating issues, providing escalation management, and making tradeoffs. - Influencing, motivating and leading others to meet the challenges of the cloud operational environment. - Validating customer requirements and coordinating cloud resources to onboard new tenants. - Generating and submitting monthly SLA reports to customers and PM. - Supporting the generation of monthly SLA and other reports. Qualifications - Active Secret Clearance - Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or an associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience. - Experienced with frequent use and application of Agile and Scrum principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Ability to work under general supervision while providing solutions to technical challenges of moderate scope and complexity. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration. - Proficiency in managing product backlogs, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies. - Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams. - DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification. - At least one cloud certification.
