Summary The core function of the Project Manager is to develop and manage the full development/implementation lifecycle, scope, timeline, resources, deliverables, issues, and escalations while continually managing client expectations. The Project Manager will collaborate with project leadership to bring thought leadership and the full force of FormativGroup to your engagements. Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end Salesforce projects—overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and deliverables across the SDLC or Agile lifecycle. - Lead day-to-day project execution, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, requirements processes, solutioning best practices, and continuous improvement. - Monitor progress and financials; create status reports; track risks, issues, and impediments; develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed. - Serve as the primary client contact to drive strong relationships, facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and deliver presentations, prototypes, and status updates. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional and technical approaches, validate solution strategy, and ensure high-quality Salesforce delivery. - Support hands-on delivery as needed, including Salesforce configuration, data loads, and review of team deliverables. - Participate in pre-sales activities such as scoping, estimating, building POCs, and creating case studies or success stories. - Mentor and guide project team members, including offshore resources, while meeting company utilization and project performance expectations. Qualifications - 5+ years as a Technical Project Manager within Salesforce consulting, leading large multi-cloud, multi-integration, multi-workstream projects. - 5+ years of Agile software delivery experience (Project/Product/Program Management) across full product, software, and testing lifecycles. - Proven leadership of Salesforce delivery teams, including on/offshore models, remote teams, and delivery against scope, schedule, and commitments. - Strong technical solutioning experience: scoping, estimation, planning, execution, and tracking of complex Salesforce initiatives. - Demonstrated expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, Lean) with PMP and Scrum certifications preferred. - Ability to assess and optimize cross-functional business processes and manage key stakeholder relationships internally and externally. - Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and adapt to new domain requirements. - Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Lightning, and the Force.com platform Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa currently. The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
