Product Manager – Criminal Database Products

• Define and own the multi-quarter roadmap for HireRight’s National Criminal Database products, balancing market opportunity, client demand, regulatory requirements, and data source capabilities. • Partner with data operations and vendor teams to evaluate and expand criminal record source coverage — including county courts, state repositories, and national pointer databases — with a relentless focus on accuracy, freshness, and hit rate performance. • Monitor the evolving federal and state regulatory landscape and translate regulatory changes into product requirements proactively. • Build and maintain feedback loops with clients, compliance teams, and industry partners to uncover pain points, validate hypotheses, and identify new product opportunities. • Define and track product KPIs including turnaround time, hit rate accuracy, false positive rates, and client satisfaction, using data to drive prioritization and optimization decisions. • Communicate product vision and progress clearly to engineering, design, legal, compliance, sales, and executive stakeholders; build consensus across distributed teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business, Criminal Justice, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrable track record of launching and iterating successful data intensive B2B SaaS products.
- Working knowledge of FCRA requirements and their implications for consumer reporting, adverse action processes, and permissible use of criminal records in employment decisions.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable setting measurable goals, interpreting data, and making decisions in the face of ambiguity.
- Experience defining roadmaps and requirements for complex, data-intensive product portfolios.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, distributed Agile teams and deliver outcomes in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex regulatory or technical topics for diverse audiences.

• Ownership of the Billing Ecosystem: Take full responsibility for the products under your leadership, ensuring every decision aligns with long-term objectives and delivers real value to the customer. • Roadmap and Strategy Management: Lead the creation and evolution of the Payments squad roadmap, prioritizing features based on solid data, customer needs, and company strategy. • Discovery Leadership (Payment Link and POS): Conduct discovery and review of Payment Link integrations (ensuring reconciliation aligned with financial management) and lead the integration of physical payment solutions (POS/card terminals) into Bling’s user journeys. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use complex quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic choices, perform continuous market analysis, and uncover new monetization opportunities in the payments sector. • Alignment and Influence: Serve as the main connection point among multiple stakeholders (including teams at Vindi, other companies in the LWSA group, and external vendors), facilitating a unified understanding of priorities and ensuring cohesion in product vision. • Customer Experience Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for the customer experience, driving innovations so that merchants have a smooth checkout (online and in-person) and frictionless financial reconciliation.
