• Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority initiatives sponsored by the CTO • Drive planning, tracking, and delivery of cross-functional technical programs • Establish program governance, milestones, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies • Own program management of the internal AI Bootcamp, from employee registration through post-graduation surveys and employee effectiveness measures • Coordinate curriculum delivery with internal and external stakeholders • Track engagement, progress, and outcomes • Define and report on success metrics (e.g., adoption, skill development, business impact) • Design and manage onboarding programs for new Builder hires • Ensure new hires are effectively ramped on tools, systems, and development practices • Partner with engineering leadership to continuously improve onboarding experience and speed-to-productivity • Support the CTO in driving transformation initiatives related to software development practices, tooling, and processes • Facilitate adoption of new methodologies and alignment to engineering mission and vision • Coordinate communication, training, and change management efforts across teams • Act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the CTO • Prepare executive briefings, updates, and strategic communications • Drive alignment across leadership teams and ensure follow-through on key decisions • Improve internal processes, cadences, and organizational visibility
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in program management, engineering operations, or global operational leadership experience focused on delivering business results
- Must have experience working in a technical capacity or alongside development teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering workflows
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized and metrics-driven with strong execution discipline
- Ability to operate successfully in highly ambiguous environment
- Ability to take full program ownership and deliver results with little oversight, high ownership, and accountability
- Champion for innovation and leveraging AI to maximize professional potential and delivery for the business

About The Role We're building the operating system for in-house legal. As the first Program Manager, Academy at GC AI, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for GC AI's award-winning educational program and growth engine, the GC AI Academy. You will shape the educational roadmap, integrating our industry-leading classes with our broader business and growth goals, and identify how our classes and engagement with attorneys drive measurable business outcomes across adoption, pipeline, and retention. You will work directly with a cross-functional team of solutions attorneys, legal operations professionals, and data analysts to build and scale a multidisciplinary educational program that teaches lawyers how to leverage AI and drives measurable impact on GC AI's growth. What You'll Do - Own the full lifecycle of the Academy program, shape the strategy, refine the roadmap for legal AI education, prioritize based on user data and business impact, and iterate based on what you learn. - Integrate class content into the larger GC AI business strategy, ensuring educational initiatives drive product adoption and support the conversion funnel. - Serve as the connective tissue between cross-functional partners in Marketing, Growth, R&D, and RevOps, aligning stakeholders and resources around the Academy mission. - Conduct ongoing discovery through user feedback, engagement analytics, and competitor analysis, and synthesize insights into a prioritized program backlog. - Partner with solutions attorneys and legal ops professionals who create the content and manage logistics to ensure high-quality class delivery. - Direct content strategy, determining which topics, formats, and delivery methods will have the highest impact on user activation, retention, and community growth. - Define and track Academy success metrics, including user engagement, course completion rates, adoption, NPS, and revenue attribution. Compensation GC AI's compensation package includes a competitive base salary benchmarked against real-time market data, as well as equity for all full-time roles. We also offer exceptional benefits, as well as commission plans for applicable roles. Our US-based compensation range for this role is $170,000 – $250,000.
