Role Description The SAP HR Mini Master Consultant is responsible for design, migration, and validation of employee master data (mini master) required to support SAP S/4HANA processes during system conversion or selective data transition. This role ensures that personnel data required for business processes (FI, CO, Logistics, GRC, etc.) is accurately migrated, integrated, and validated in the S/4HANA environment. Key Responsibilities - HR Mini Master Design & Setup - Define and configure HR Mini Master data model in S/4HANA to support business processes without full HCM implementation - Identify required info types (e.g., 0000, 0001, 0002, 0006, 0105) for mini master setup - Configure personnel number ranges, organizational assignments, and user linkage - Data Migration (ECC → S/4HANA) - Analyze and extract relevant HR master data from ECC - Cleanse, harmonize, and prepare data for migration - Execute migration using tools such as: - SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit - LSMW (if applicable) - Validate data consistency post-migration (employee records, business partners, user assignments) - Integration with S/4HANA Modules - Ensure HR Mini Master supports integration with: - Finance (FI) – user/employee mapping - Controlling (CO) – cost center assignments - Logistics & Procurement – employee/vendor relationships - Align employee data with Business Partner approach in SAP S/4HANA - User & Authorization Linkage - Maintain linkage between Personnel Number ↔ User ID ↔ Business Partner - Support integration with authorization concepts (roles, workflows, approvals) - Testing & Validation - Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT for HR mini master scenarios - Validate: - Data accuracy - Workflow functionality - Reporting consistency - Data Governance & Compliance - Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with GDPR and internal policies - Define data ownership and governance processes for HR mini master data - Collaboration - Work closely with: - HR functional teams - Security & GRC teams - Data migration team - Basis & technical teams Qualifications - Strong knowledge of SAP HCM (PA/OM) in ECC - Experience with HR Mini Master concept in S/4HANA - Understanding of Business Partner integration Requirements - Hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversions or selective data transitions - Familiarity with migration tools like: - SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit - Data mapping, cleansing, and validation expertise - Understanding of info types and HR data structures - Experience in test case creation and execution - Data validation and reconciliation - Functional documentation Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integration - Knowledge of SAP GRC / access control - Exposure to data privacy regulations (GDPR) - Familiarity with S/4HANA CVI (Customer Vendor Integration) Deliverables - HR Mini Master design document - Data migration strategy & mapping templates - Migration execution and validation reports - Test scripts and results documentation - Post-go-live support documentation Typical Project Phase Involvement - Discover & Prepare → Scope HR data requirements - Explore → Define mini master design - Realize → Execute migration & testing - Deploy → Validate and support go-live - Run → Stabilization and data governance Ideal Candidate Profile - 8-10+ years in SAP HCM - At least 1–2 S/4HANA migration projects - Strong data migration and integration experience - Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams

The selected candidate will report to the Philadelphia Office Director and be responsible for: - Supporting planning, social benefit cost analysis, environmental permitting, and Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) market services. - Independently supervising an environmental survey crew in the field. This position is a regular (with benefits), full-time, hourly position with compensation based on individual qualifications and experience. Individuals must be willing and able to work in the Mid-Atlantic area. The selected candidate may be a distributed employee, living in the state of their choice, or working out of the Philadelphia Office.
