• Support customers with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Agilent Cellular Analysis instruments • Install and optimize hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems • Perform maintenance and repair services • Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance • Proactively respond to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business • Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software • Serve as an internal resource on technical issues and manage product escalations • Collaborate with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or other university-level degrees within the science field -- e.g. biochemistry, biotechnology or similar-- are highly preferred; may consider applicants with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 4+ years of experience working with analytical instrumentation, ideally including repair, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting
- Ability to solve high-impact problems related to product availability; typically, system/solution-focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer relationship-building skills are essential
- Ability to travel 80% of the time
- A valid driver's license is required for this position
