Senior AEM Front-End Developer
Valtech
• Work alongside our project managers, business analysts, QA team, and solution architects to deliver high-quality, high-performance AEM solutions on time and within client budgets • Propose front-end solutions following AEM best practices • Write clean, efficient, and performant code on the AEM platform • Participate in story refinement and requirements analysis • Develop solutions according to user stories • Follow agile methodology • Create projects, documentation, prototypes, and other clear, maintainable technical deliverables • Ensure secure development practices and compliance with standards • Improve technical aspects of the product by identifying issues in architecture, performance, code, or processes • Participate in development/enhancement activities based on the project proposed by the architect/technical lead.
Job Requirements
- Advanced or fluent English
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- Experience in Front-End development and Adobe Experience Manager
- Familiarity with AEM Sites, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Git
- Front-end experience (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and HTL/Sightly)
- Familiarity with component frameworks/libraries (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
- Experience building components: Dialogs
- Experience consuming third-party APIs
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging
- Experience managing AEM Assets
- Implementation of unit tests

Role Description Provides support services for the Production, Scheduling and Controls Team, currently being supported by the existing hosting provider Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The Project, Scheduling, and Coordination (PS&C) Team provides job scheduling and monitoring functions, available 24x7. The PS&C team will perform enterprise scheduling and analysis utilizing BMC Control-M software.
