Sales Operations Manager

Role Description This role can be performed anywhere in the United States. - Sales forecasting: Own end-to-end management of the sales forecasting process including data analysis and recommendations to sales leadership. - Reporting and analysis: Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline health and forecast accuracy. Integrates operational insights from multiple domains to advise leadership. - Planning & Readiness: Support Annual Planning including territory design and quota setting for a Division of the Splunk Americas sales organization. - Operational Excellence: Establish strong operating cadence to drive consistency and predictability throughout the sales organization. - Sales process optimization: Streamline the end-to-end sales process to eliminate bottlenecks and increase productivity using AI, automation, Salesforce and reporting systems. - Thought leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to sales leaders on GTM Strategy and decisions including sales coverage, capacity, plays and tactics across all teams in Splunk. - Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging and go-to-market initiatives. Qualifications - Experience: 3+ years in Sales Operations, Business Operations or a relevant function. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. - Technical Skills: High proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), advanced excel skills and experience with BI Tools (e.g. Tableau). Requirements - Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into action. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Organizational skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
