Title: Regional Manager - Northeast Location: Rochester, NY Job Description: The Regional Manager ensures the safe, productive, day-to-day onsite operations of utility-scale solar PV plants in a designated region. The manager is responsible for a team of local O&M field service technicians, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and compliance with all safety and environmental standards to ensure peak productivity. What You’ll Do: - Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything that you do. - Work with Remote Operations Center and Engineering Teams to coordinate dispatch and real-time repairs. - Manage a team of technicians and coordinate daily planning of work and technical assistance. - Perform occasional field site visits to solar facilities in region to assist technicians with routine maintenance, inspections, testing, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and overseeing Subcontractors performing work. Maintain service reports, inspection documentation, safety paperwork, and spare parts inventory. - Maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and corrective repairs - Maintaining and ordering of company property such as vehicle, tools, PPE and safety equipment, and spare parts stock. - Complete and audit work orders for the assigned region daily. - Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others as needed. The individual will work closely with TNC staff and external consultants to identify opportunities and develop strategies to reach identified audiences in support of advancing TNC’s mission by leveraging our science, on-the-ground projects and relationships through policy to make a meaningful contribution to TNC’s conservation and climate goals. They may organize grass roots efforts to mobilize constituents on legislative priorities. The External Affairs Associate also builds and facilitates internal networks, coordinates meetings, agendas, and presentations, and conducts other activities in support of the Ohio Policy and Government Relations program.
