Job Description

Home Dialysis Operations Specialist

DaVita Kidney Care

• Responsible for providing redeployment services for NxStage Home Hemodialysis (HHD) equipment • Includes dialysis machine and water system disinfections and testing, vendor coordination, scheduling with clinic teammates and patients, troubleshooting logistics issues • Effectively communicating with supervisor • Performs redeployment procedures (decontamination and testing) on dialysis delivery systems to prepare them for storage and redeployment • Communicates with clinic teams, patients, machine vendor, and transportation services regarding normal equipment order operations • Organizes orders in tracking files and inventory systems • Communicates reporting to supervisor • Troubleshoots order issues by communicating with patient/clinic and asking questions to machine vendor and transport services • Demonstrates a commitment to learning and seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in redeployment operations.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–2 years of professional experience required
  • Experience in logistics, operations coordination, healthcare, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and tasks simultaneously
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone communication
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to work within tracking systems, inventory platforms, and reporting tools
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to work independently under supervision in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and attention to detail.
