• Own and optimize the full identity lifecycle (joiner / mover / leaver) processes • Manage enterprise authentication systems, including MFA and conditional access • Define, implement, and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) models • Administer privileged access management (PIM), ensuring least-privilege operations • Govern and maintain service accounts and non-human identities • Lead design, configuration, and maintenance of federation and SSO integrations • Manage and enforce tenant-level security controls and configuration standards • Coordinate feature rollout management for identity-related services • Partner with Security and Legal teams to ensure identity alignment with data governance policies • Implement and improve license-assignment automation • Drive SKU optimization strategies (E3 vs. E5, workload mapping, cost efficiency) • Manage true-up / true-down cycles for licensing accuracy and financial stewardship • Develop usage analytics and reporting to inform decisions and measure effectiveness • Serve as primary liaison for Microsoft and reseller coordination • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the IAM domain

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or Enterprise Services engineering
  • Expertise with Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and federation technologies
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, PIM, and identity lifecycle processes
  • Experience automating licensing, access workflows, and identity provisioning

The Digital Cloud Advisory Team is part of the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services organization. We seek highly motivated and customer-focused team members within this team to strengthen the Digital Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (DCAA) in NA. The Cloud Architect Advisor works predominantly in the pre-sales phase as a subject matter expert, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical topics related to the private cloud deployment from a customer perspective. It works closely with all the other internal SAP teams to prepare customers for success on their cloud journey under RISE with SAP. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: This is a customer-facing role in which you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a Cloud deal. The following are the essential tasks that this role will perform: - Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering, including respective managed service offerings (usually to CIO’s, IT managers, data center managers, and SAP Technology staff) - Present the technical requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on SAP Data Centres, Premium Suppliers, and Hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap with partners, System Integrators, and/or SAP Professional Services. - Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such as Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption. - Work on Pricing using tools such as Quote Tool, Configurator, etc. - Work with other teams within the Customer Success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams. - Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services delivery organization as required. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university. - High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required. - High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings and industry solutions. - Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.) - Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment. - Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.) - Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one Hyperscale provider (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) - Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects - Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice. - Fluency in English; any other language is an asset (Spanish preferred).
