Field Service Technician

Role Description - Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines. - Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment). - Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools). - Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams. - Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs of an engine. - The ability to work well as part of a team. - Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions. - Ability to travel including overnight travel. - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. - Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed. - Must be able to communicate via telephone & email. Qualifications - Strong customer service mindset and strong skills to drive, support, empower and inspire the Service teams and Customers. - +7 years’ experience in a technical role or extensive years of experience with issue resolution exposure within (Field-) Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines). - Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills. - Willingness to work in shift model (depending) and on call. - Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems. - Fluency in English a must. - Good interpersonal skills. Job Specific Knowledge - Strong communication skills…experienced in customer communications. - Boundaryless and multi-culture working mindset and team player. - Able to work efficiently without direct supervision. Preferred - Multi-working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational & commissioning, all engine types. - Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR6. - Mechanical RCA research and analysis exposure. - Previous field experience a bonus.

Qualifications - You have 1+ years of diagnostic imaging service experience (field or hospital-based) or 3+ years in an electromechanical service environment. - Experience supporting diagnostic X-Ray, Cath Labs, or Image-Guided therapy equipment is preferred. - You have strong technical aptitude with the ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking principles to install, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems. - You are comfortable using a wide range of diagnostic tools and test equipment. - You hold an associate degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. - You bring practical problem-solving skills in regulated service environments. - You are able to meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements of a field service role, with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements - This position has an extensive travel expectation, including working in hospitals, healthcare facilities, home offices, and remote settings.
