Role Description The Manager, Market Management supports membership growth and management by ensuring providers and other key stakeholders across our service area have the information and support they need to provide best-in-class member care, achieve our growth goals and drive quality health outcomes. In addition, the Market Manager develops and analyzes trends that help drive best-in-class member care and quality outcomes, while meeting affordability targets. The Market Manager assists in the development of strong relationships with community partners and develops key insights within our markets to guide overall growth strategies. The Market Manager operates in a matrixed organization and builds partnerships across the organization. You will report into the Director, Market Management. Work Location: This is a remote position based in the field, open to candidates who reside in Illinois. Your daily work will involve a blend of work from your home office and travel for client meetings. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. #LI-Remote Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $100,602 - $132,040 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses. Responsibilities - Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies to improve profitability and sustainability of our markets. - Execute necessary tasks of the market(s) growth, profitability, and affordability plan for assigned market(s). - Manage industry relationships to manage market growth, profitability, and affordability efforts. - Support and/or manage team members responsible for the servicing, education and communication to the provider network. - Execute and help identify and guide team and org wide initiatives to improve quality and financial performance. - Monitor assigned partners to gauge compliance with standards, implementing corrective actions to remediate deficiencies. - Help inform key business strategies to achieve market goals and mitigate risks. - Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - 4+ years of professional experience in healthcare client management, consulting, or financial services or healthcare finance, performance management, or a related field. - 2+ years experience running financial analyses on markets or product lines. Bonus Points - Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace, quality of care, and population health experience. - Bilingual (Spanish).
