Area Sales Manager – Commercial Consultants

• Develop a strategic network of key consultants and build strong business relationships by regularly visiting, calling, and holding professional meetings, seminars and events; some of which may be outside of normal working hours. • Make sure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and be accessible for customers and colleagues alike. • Work closely with the Nuaire Contractor Representative to identify successful contractors and ensure specifications are held and profitably negotiated at order stage. • Take opportunities to convert competitor specifications and design and build projects by closely following projects and sharing information with colleagues and updating company tracking systems. • Achieve and aim to exceed area sales targets and key performance targets e.g. call rates. • Gain and maintain product and technical competence across the Nuaire product range and confidently present product and control information to a wide audience. • Ensure communication and close working relationships are developed with the internal commercial sales office, technical teams and wider company areas. • Report market conditions and competitor activity into the business. • Support marketing initiatives to actively promote Nuaire product ranges internally and externally in order to maintain high levels of brand and product awareness. • Maintain an accurate and current project log, undertake sales administration and provide regular updates to the Regional Sales Manager.

Commercial Specification Manager

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with M&E consultants, specifiers, and design engineers across the region. • Secure specification of ADEY Commercial products in new build and retrofit projects. • Deliver CPD presentations and technical training to consultants and design teams. • Collaborate with the internal sales and technical teams to support project delivery and ensure compliance with specifications. • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines to identify opportunities. • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular reporting on specification activity and project status. • Represent ADEY at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Technical Sales Manager

• Deliver the Alpha Scientific commercial testing sales revenue budget through targeted client acquisition and account growth, unlocking new market opportunities and driving expansions across key sectors. • Establish effective and long-term partnerships with Water Treatment companies, Commissioning firms, Healthcare organisations, Councils and other key players in the Water Hygiene Market. • Identify new customer, market and service opportunities, working with the Marketing team to develop and execute. • Developing the sales strategy and implementing tactical sales plans aligned to business objectives. • Lead on major bids, tenders, and commercial negotiations. • Drive continuous improvement in our pricing structure and tools, in collaborations with the Finance Director. • Educate the market on the value of Alpha’s solutions to develop the overall category and cross-selling of Genuit products. • Build and develop relationships with key industry figures to raise the profile of Alpha Scientific through the Water Treatment and Water Hygiene industries. • Advocate for evolving UK regulations, guidance and industry best practices. • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Managers to drive demand generation. • Meets sales and financial objectives forecasting requirements; performance tracking against KPIs, preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective action. • Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring Alpha’s services evolve with market needs. • Partner with the laboratories and business leaders to develop the service offering to continually drive up service delivery. • Help diversify the division’s current analytical offering by highlighting areas of client demand including development of the drop-off and collection network as required. • Maintains and expands customer base by coaching team; maintaining and growing relationships with key customers; identifying new opportunities. • Work closely with the laboratories to ensure a seamless transition of accounts into the Alpha Scientific business. • Represent and promote the Alpha brand, culture and uphold the company’s trademark behaviours. • Achieve the required targeted Sales Growth and profitability target as set by the business. • Delivering presentations professionally, confidently and effectively to new and prospective customers promoting Alpha’s services and brand values. • Time management - Organise appointments in advance to maximise productivity and to make full use of your time. • Ensure effective CRM usage, reporting, and pipeline management. • Attend events, evening and weekend work will be required. • Be an active member of the Alpha Management Team; attend all required Sales/Management Meetings. • Complete required reporting to the business, promptly and with the required detail. • Ensure all team members are following company procedures.
Commodity Manager – Capital Expenditure

• Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term category strategies • Understand market dynamics, cost drivers, and supply risks • Track and analyse relevant commodity indices to inform pricing strategies, supplier negotiations, and forward cost visibility • Lead sourcing decisions aligned to business requirements and technical needs • Maintain a clear supplier segmentation and sourcing roadmap • Ensure all suppliers operate under robust contractual frameworks (Genuit T&Cs / agreements) • Drive total cost of ownership improvements (not just price) • Manage contract lifecycle, renewals, and re-tendering activity • Implement structured supplier performance management (QCD – Quality, Cost, Delivery) • Lead supplier reviews, improvement plans, and escalation where required • Identify and onboard alternative suppliers to reduce dependency and risk • Identify and mitigate supply, financial, and operational risks • Ensure continuity of supply across all sites • Develop contingency plans for key suppliers and commodities • Monitor market volatility (e.g. raw materials, logistics, capacity constraints) • Act as the commercial lead across multiple sites • Influence senior stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Engineering, SLT) • Challenge demand, specifications, and sourcing approaches where appropriate • Drive compliance to procurement processes and governance • Deliver against agreed KPIs: cost savings / cost avoidance, payment term improvements, supplier performance, contract coverage • Provide clear reporting and insight on category performance • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies • Support standardisation across sites and categories • Contribute to broader procurement strategy and transformation initiatives
