Role Description The Inside Sales Representative I (ISR1) is a foundational role responsible for executing day-to-day transactional sales activities with a focus on speed, accuracy, and operational excellence. This position supports customer accounts through quoting, order processing, and coordination across internal teams including Engineering, Quality, and Logistics. ISR1 plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience while building the technical and commercial skills required for future growth within ICAPE. Key Responsibilities - Customer & Account Management - Support assigned accounts through daily transactional activities - Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with customers - Track and follow up on RFQs, orders, and delivery timelines - Quoting & Cost Analysis - Process RFQs using ICAPE systems (E-shop, Matrix, Supplier RFQ) - Prepare accurate and timely quotations - Validate customer specifications and escalate complex requests - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Customer Service - Ensure smooth transition from quote to order fulfillment - Communicate risks proactively to avoid delays - Process Improvement & Reporting - Maintain accurate data in SAP and CRM systems - Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time and order accuracy - Analyze basic operational reports and identify inefficiencies - Training & SOP Compliance - Follow ICAPE Standard Operating Procedures - Participate in onboarding and continuous learning programs - Develop foundational PCB and systems knowledge Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred - 1–3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or B2B environment Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) - Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred) - Ability to learn technical tools and quoting systems quickly - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational and time management skills Benefits - Clear career progression: ISR1 → ISR2 → ISR3 → Program Manager / Account Manager - Exposure to global markets and supply chain operations - High-performance culture with leadership visibility - Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding international organization Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods working at a computer - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally Equal Opportunity Statement ICAPE is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
