Finance BI Data Analyst

Role Description Enabling Keysight growth and maximizing operational excellence, this Finance Business Intelligence Data Analyst position is focused on the development of finance operational reporting, analytics and insights as well as support of Finance BI processes and project management. The position is part of Finance and BI Initiatives and Solutions (FBIS) team and it requires a strong team player who is able to perform independently while staying tightly connected with the geographically distributed team. The position requires a combination of hands-on BI-related technical skills, financial data flow and process knowledge as well as project management experience. - Partner closely with the Finance teams, understand their data needs and address those with intelligent BI reporting data solutions developed in partnership with the IT organization in a timely and sustainable fashion. - Gather business requirements, perform fit/gap and impact analysis. - Take ownership of the projects; organize and manage all aspects of the project from start to finish. - Manage BI backlog, release schedules and milestones along all stages of development life cycle, coordinating across multiple teams. - Ensure the integrity of data by establishing and executing data quality verification procedures. - Support Keysight POR projects by ensuring existing Finance reporting continuity and by developing new BI solutions dictated by the POR. - Work proactively on increasing user adoption by creating and maintaining data dictionaries, catalogues, delivering user training. - Ensure consistency of data security for all existing and new tools, datasets and reports. - Perform Data Steward role for Finance BI organization by participating in Keysight Data Governance team and partnering with stakeholders from Finance, Business, Sales, OF, Marketing, Product Management teams to establish and maintain, clean data semantic layer and proper finance data usage across the company. Qualifications - A mix of creativity with strive for success and a ‘Can-Do’, ‘Will-Do’ attitude. - Ability to work independently with little oversight while maintaining tight connection with the rest of geographically distributed team, putting team’s success and “One Keysight” first. - Ability to listen, interpret and translate loosely defined word problems and requirements into technical specifications, design, development all the way through to the user adoption of finalized solutions. - Ability to communicate effectively in finance functional and business user language as well as technical IT language. - Strong analytical skills, ability to manipulate large volumes of data and synthesize it to meaningful, valuable, actionable insights. - Ability to think strategically in order to develop sustainable solutions, even under pressure of “need it yesterday” situations. - Take pride in data accuracy and quality of developed solutions. - Passion for learning new tools and cross-functional business flows to expand knowledge. - Strong prioritization skills. Requirements - 8+ years of finance functional experience, leaning to finance reporting. - Hands-on experience in BI tools and MS office: Incorta, Denodo or similar, Microstrategy and Tableau or similar, Proficiency in MS Excel. - Understanding of databases such as Snowflake is a plus. - Experience in reporting, data analytics and data visualizations (dashboarding and storytelling). - Knowledge of Oracle ERP (EBS and Cloud, GL, AR, AP, Intercompany, Manufacturing, Order Management, Subscriptions etc.) data flows is a plus. - Understanding of financial consolidations tools (such as Onestream) is a plus. - Knowledge of Zuora RevPro is a plus. - Experience in Data security, standards setting, governance, cataloguing and dictionaries best practices is a plus. - Previous work experience such as Data Analyst, Reporting Lead, Financial Analyst would be relevant to this position.
