Role Description Kentro is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States and serve as the bridge between agile delivery teams and enterprise scheduling functions, translating sprint-level work into integrated master schedules, maintaining program timelines, and surfacing risk and dependencies across a complex portfolio of technology initiatives. The Scheduler / IMS Lead builds and maintains the IMS for the CAM ESOM Support Cell tracking milestones, dependencies, critical path activities, and schedule risks across all workstreams while also owning the day-to-day schedule which drives prioritizations and resource allocation. You will work closely with team members, project managers, and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, collaborating effectively across distributed teams and time zones. This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours. The salary for this position is between $125-145K/annually. Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated master schedules (IMS) using MS Project for multiple concurrent IT programs, incorporating agile sprint cadences and waterfall dependencies. - Conduct critical path analysis, resource leveling, and what-if scenario planning to proactively identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies. - Facilitate virtual scheduling governance meetings and produce weekly status reports, Gantt views, and variance analyses for executive and stakeholder consumption. - Maintain baseline schedules, track actual vs. planned progress, and manage change control in alignment with PMO standards. - Identify and report key metrics and variances in alignment with PMO guidance and standards. - Coordinate cross-project dependency mapping and escalate conflicts to Program Managers and the Portfolio Management team. - Continuously improve scheduling processes, templates, and tools in collaboration with the broader PMO and Agile CoE. - Champion remote-first communication practices by maintaining clear, timely documentation and proactively sharing schedule updates across distributed teams. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, mathematics, business administration or similar. - 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management. - 5+ years of hands-on MS Project scheduling experience. - Experience with government contracting. - Experience with both development, operations and maintenance scheduling. - Strong understanding of critical path methodology (CPM) and earned value concepts. - Proven ability to work effectively in fully remote, distributed team environments. - Proficiency in resource planning, capacity management, and dependency tracking. - Excellent written and async communication skills; comfortable with video-first collaboration. As a Clinical Informaticist supporting the Clinical Process Modeling (CPM) and VistA Sustainment program within the Veterans Health Administration, you will be responsible for: - Supporting the day-to-day execution of the CPM project. - Providing professional and technical Health Informatics (HI) services to support the development of enterprise CPM Blueprints and related Clinical Decision Support workflows. - Working with clinical analysts, program analysts, health systems specialists, and information architects to provide health informatics expertise and develop CPMs for implementation in legacy VistA and Cerner environments. - Supporting the transition to the Cerner electronic health record (EHR) at VA Medical Centers (VAMCs). - Involvement in organizational change management, support of Initial Operating Capability (IOC), and CPM Blueprints efforts.
